I won't say this is as low as say the rumored Seven 2 rumor that comes up now and then, but it's pretty damn close.

I've been eagerly anticipating another movie written by Damon and/or Affleck, but this is far from what I had in mind. Good WIll Hunting had one of the most perfect endings ever ranking not too far behind Shawshank and Almost Famous.

I read that today too and i was happy, i hate sequels to serious movies.. if ts crap like jp and that stuff i am all for it.. but when it comes to art... just quit when your a head

Since when is Jurassic Park crap? #3 and to a lesser extent #2 could be argued, but the first one? So by your rationale, is, uh, let's see here.... Aliens crap? I mean, it's not based on reality or everyday situations and characters, so I'm just curious.

P.S. What exactly, by your definition, is a serious movie? Are you talking about just drama or what? I'm stumped here, help me out.

Godfather Part II is the best movie ever made. Sequals are usually done in two ways, the most often is a rehashing where you use the same formula as the first and essentially remake it. The second is a companion peice a movie that utilizes points from the original to create a different story.
