does anyone know how to burn a game onto your pc?

by what it means... like when you burn music from a cd to your computer... it would be the same with a pc game.

He's asking how to rip the program from the game disc and onto your hard drive; So you can put it up on Kazaa or do something like that with it. I've no idea how to do that, but I can burn PC games onto a CD-R.

Oh...well, I can burn from CD to CD, but not on a computer. Sorry.

You can use a program called CDRWIN from Golden Hawk Technology to rip a game from a CD as a *.bin or *.iso file then burn it back onto a CDR. There's a lot more to it than that through because the vast majority of games these days have some pretty serious protection on them. There are ways around this but quite honestly I don't find it's not worth the hassle.

thnks Psychocandy, thats what i was talking about.. though it seems a hell of lot more complicated then burning cd`s...

and to Jason, i dont use Kazza, and since im on dial-up, im not exactly equipted to share files
