Opens with the ending to HALLOWEEN: RESSURECTION. After Michael's eyes open she quickly grabs a needle and injects stuff into him through his neck. He is knocked out. She backs up in fright, and a new mysterious man in black is behind her and he knocks her to the ground. Michael then gets up and takes a saw which he disembowles her with.
The next scene takes place one year later. Tommy Doyle and Kara Strode are now married and living with eachother in the bording house along with Danny Strode and Steven, the baby from six who is now seven years old. The other people who live in the bording house are Lindsey Wallace and Ronnie (from H20). Next door to them is John Lloyd and Molly Lloyd (since they got married). The Myers house still stands across the street, although very burnt. No one has even been in the yard of that house since RESSURECTION. John and Molly get into a fight. After that, John leaves off to work. Molly goes next door to talk to Ronnie. When she gets there, Tommy, Kara, Steven, and Danny have left and Lindsey and Ronnie are watching tv. Molly joins them, they are watching THE THING. Molly talks to them about how hers and John's marriage is falling apart. Lindsey explains to her that all marriages are like that at first but they get better. Ronnie says that he'll help them out with money after he gets a job. Molly thanks them both and goes upstairs to use the bathroom. When she is done, she is about to leave the bathroom but Michael walks out of the shower with an axe and decapitates her. After that, Tommy, Kara and the others come home. They notice that the backdoor is open and Ronnie says that Molly was there and must have left through the backdoor. Later that night, Ronnie hears a loud noise in Lindsey's room, he walks in and sees her on the bed with her throat slit. Then Michael takes a knife and stabs Ronnie in the gut, he then slices his stomach open as his intestines fall out. Danny was across the hall watching the whole thing in fear as Michael walks towards him. Danny yells for Tommy or Kara and they run upstairs and put Danny and Steven outside. Tommy and Kara both take guns and they search upstairs for Michael. When they find him they both shoot at him untill he falls to the floor. They wait a few seconds and Michael finally gets up, Kara walks up to him and shoots him in the head. Next scene, people are talking to the cops as the ambulance takes the three bodies away. John tells the cops that he hasn't seen his wife since early that morning. The cops tell him to stay in the boarding house untill they find her. Meanwhile, we see the ambulance trucks on the side of the road full of blood as the man in black and Michael walk away from them. Then back at the boarding house John is crying because he fears Molly is dead. Tommy and Kara try to comfort him. Suddenly, a bunch of people dressed in black take Danny and Steven. The Man in Black knocks out Kara, Tommy, and John. The three of them wake up. Danny and Steven are missing. The door is busted down. Kara is about to call the cops as John tells them that they are across the street, in the Myers house. The three of them go over to the house and search downstairs and up when they realize that everyone is in the basement. When they go into the basement they see a bunch of cult members standing around Danny and Steven, who are tied up. Then they see the Man in Black walk out, he takes of his hat and is revealed to be Lindsey. She says "To avenge my father, Terence Wynn's death, I have become the ruler of a new age of the Thorn cult. Now to start our first ritual." Lindsey raises the axe about to decapitate Danny. Then Kara burts out "Our family did not kill your father! It was Michael!" Then Michael comes out from behind and decapitates John. Kara and Tommy run downstairs and untie Danny and Steven, then Michael comes downstairs and goes on a rampage killing each cult member untill the only one left is Lindsey. She says "You really did kill my father didn't you! You bastard!" He then raises the axe and splits her head in half. As the others struggle to get out from the door, Steven stumbles down the stairs and Michael raises the axe above him. Then Kara runs down the stairs and kicks the axe out of his hands. Steven runs upstairs and Kara picks up the axe, she embeds the axe into Michael's groin and lifts it up untill it cuts through his head, splitting him in half. Then Kara, Tommy, Steven, and Danny go back to the house. Kara notices that Steven has a wound on his arm. Tommy and Danny go to call the police as Kara comforts Steven. But then, Steven takes a knife out of his pocket and slashes Kara's throat. When Tommy heard the scream he ran out, Tommy grabs Steven's arm and notices the thorn sign on his wrist.
