Okay, here's a better challenge: what's the most ridiculous horror movie information you've ever seen on the IMDb that was later proven to be false? And how long was it up there?

No offense intended, but I'm thinking this thread may be closed..

IMDb checks the validity of a user's new movie submission, I assure you.
IMDb is the most comprehensive movie site on the web, one that wouldn't be nearly as informative without user input. There's no way to check every bit of information given, so of course there's gonna be errors. But the important information - names, titles, awards, etc - is accurate. So what if some quotes aren't exact, or a movie connection isn't proven? You think you can do better, go ahead and try. But purposely submitting incorrect information is juvenile and counterproductive. Get a life.

You know what? That idea just might be crazy enough to work.
:eek::p:D
EDIT: Okay, it's a pretty silly thing to do, but there was that one guy who incorrectly sent in info that an Ernest movie was rated NC-17, and it took them months to fix it. :p

Here's the ones I've seen. Some may still be there:
A page for Black Christmas 2 with Marley Shelton, Mindy Clarke, John Saxon and Olivia Hussey listed as starring.
A page for some ghetto horror movie called It's Goin Down with Nia Long and Jamie Kennedy listed as starring. The page disappeared a few days later.
Uma Thurman in Cheerleader Camp 2 (???)

Hate to break it to some of you, but IMDB is unreliable. They are entirely full of shit and don't check any info (and if they do notice that something is wrong, it takes them months to fix it).
For Example: they say there is a character in F vs. J named Corbin Dallas. The character from the Fifth Element. There is no Corbin Dallas in F vs. J.
They say Tommy Jarvis will be in F vs. J. Again, false.
Are these being fixed/checked? Nope. Just goes to show that IMDB is full of shit and can't be trusted, and it pisses me off whenever someone posts "news" from IMDB. If it's from IMDB, there is a 99% chance that is false.
Sadly, some have yet to realize this.

At one point, didn't they report that Jeffrey Combs was dead? Geesh! The IMDb does contain faulty information, but considering that it houses every film ever made, I'd say that 99% of it's accurate. Pointing out a handful of fuck-ups doesn’t hinder their credibility.

Yeah, the IMDb did a pretty good job removing our Bloody Murder 2 reviews.
For those of you who can't remember (or weren't here), last April some horror Schmoes posted fake reviews for Bloody Murder 2 on imdb.com and they were shown! Here's the ones I managed to save copies of...

Those crazy teens return to camp, only to meet up with Trevor Moorehouse again, but this time they're ready.
The first movie was atrocious, but director Ralph Portillo seems to have wised up and finally made a great movie. Yes, you heard me right, after Fever Lake, and Bloody Murder, he's finally made a great movie. No this isn't going to win any awards, but I can definitely see it going down in horror history with the likes of Friday the 13th.
Now what makes this better then the first movie? Well first of all the acting has improved, and so has the script. The character development is also better, these are some of the deepest characters I've seen in a long time. Very 3 dimensional. Also the plot is very strong, not like the weak one from the first, no, this time it doesn't just revolve around the killings, it also focuses on the turmoil all the characters are going through, I won't give any of that away though.
So forget about the reputation this movie has because of the first one, and go rent it as soon as you can.
Who is Trevor Moorehouse? You'll find out with this puppy.

Bloody Murder 2. What more could a horror fan ask for. Quality direction. Top Notch acting and what I am sure will be a deep intriguing plot. It's christmas time for us horror fans and santa is delivering us the big bag of horror goodness which is Bloody Murder 2.

Just like the others said, this film is brilliant! I can't believe how sweet this movie turned out to be. The first one was so horrible that I couldn't believe it, but I heard so many good things about this one that I rented it. Wow, was I blown away!
This one has everything, better acting, directing, and tight pacing. But the thing I loved most was it's ability to scare me. This one was creepy! It kept me squirming in my seat for a while. It's flaws are few and very far between, but hey, nothing's perfect. Did I mention that this one is a lot gorier than the other one? I mean, it's not exactly oozing with blood and guts, but just enough to frighten you. And the nudity... I won't go any further than that. You just need to see it for yourself, you will NEVER forget it.
This movie should just give itself another name and then I could count it along with the better horror movies I've seen. But, it does bear the name of Bloody Muder 2, so I guess we'll have to deal with it as it is. I think they should just call it Bloody Murder, ban the first one, and be done with it. This one deserves better.

If I was to say "Trevor Moorhouse" to you, you'd hardly shake in your boots.
But give this name 6 months or so, and everybody will shake in terror at the mere utterance of the name.
For it is in Bloody Murder 2: Closing Camp where Moorouse comes into his own.
SPOILERS BELOW
From the nasty slit throat to a rather uncomfortable-looking death involving a tin of beans and a cucumber, Moorhouse's ruthlessness far exceeds that of the original movie.
The acting in Bloody Murder 2 also surpasses that of the original, although it's fair to say that wouldn't be hard.
And the nudity... my word. Put your kids to sleep, Mrs. Bishop. This ain't for their peepers.
SPOILERS END
You must see this movie. Trevor Moorhouse is back - and this time he's gonna fry your knees for brunch.

Wow, It's hard to believe its been so long since I've felt this good. 2 years ago I believe it was, as my lovely wife gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl we came to call Susy. Why do I have a spring in my step and a song in my heart you ask? Simple, I am still basking in Euphoria after my first viewing of Bloody Murder 2. To be quite honest I didn't know film's could be this good. It's almost like an act of god, When the perfect script, An absolutely gorgeous setting, an extremely talented director, and one of the greatest cast's ever assemble to create a film unlike any you have ever seen before.
This film strikes emotionally on so many levels, I'm still discovering new things about it, and I finished viewing it hours ago. It is as deep and thought provoking as The masterworks of the late great Stanley Kubrick, Combined with the visual flair of say.. Stephen Spielberg. The script is quite frankly a work of art, revealing clear and deep portraits of the characters portrayed within, almost like a painting done by Vincent Van Gogh or Rembrandt, Which is ironic as this is how the director handle's the Cinemaphotography, Like a master painter, Using the camera as his brush and the awe inspiring beauty of the camp as his canvas, But enough about the visual aspect of the story. This is the scariest horror film ever, the script is witty, clever, and intelligent. The characters striking, realistic, and engaging. The Killer, Horrifying , Brutal, and Vicious. All the scares work, all the dialogue is priceless. This film is truly a success on every imaginable level. It is the greatest film I have ever seen. Rush to the video store.. Now. So you can say you were the first on your block to have seen this triumph of Film making

That was really funny. I think I remember reading one of those reviews when I visited the Bloody Murder 2 page.
As for me, I've submitted info to the IMDb, but it was true...I'd seen this movie Devil's Prey and saw the IMDb page was incomplete, so I sent them the cast list and provided a review. I don't know if the review is still there. They replaced my one for Ripper: Letter From Hell. I'm pretty peeved about that, actually. My one was far shorter and more succinct than the one they've got there now. Stupid IMDb....
