Anyone catch it? As a result of this, I am starting to wonder if its getting harder for AMC to find classics to put on their channel. They actually aired Tom Hanks' Bachelor Party a few weeks ago.

Halloween 4 was also on, I just got home when it was getting done. Look, I think Halloween 4 is a above average slasher and all (though 5 is a nearly unwatchable mess), but like pretty much wat Myron said, AMC is a pretty pathetic now, so much for "American Movie Classics".

Well, I heard that AMC was going to show a marathon of all of the Halloween Movies besides Resurrection and maybe h20.

I believe AMC will be showing all but the last two Halloween films during October. But, do you really want to watch them with all of the commercials AMC now puts in its movies? Also, AMC now edits their films. Wouldn't you rather see the uncut versions?

Halloween 5...Is the worst Halloween movie ever made!I freaking hated that trash and i toatally agree with Arrow's review on it.Bad mask,Bad plot,Boring murders and stupid humor(GOD DAMN THOSE CLOWN COPS!!)I wish it was never created.
Halloween 5-3/10
Halloween 4 kicks ass, plain and simple.Crack got to number 5 and i guess it got fucked up.Halloween 4 is the best damn sequel i have ever seen.Rent it now for non-viewers.

halloween 5 is far from a classic,AMC must be doing it for the sake of the franchise.the movie was still barely watchable.

I checked AMC's site and it says they're only showing Halloween 2-5 they probably couldn't get the rights to the original

i accually like HALLOWEEN 5. i know it sucks but seeing DANIELLE HARRIS and ELLIE CORNELL is always a good thing. it had great atmosphere and excellent opening credit's. the box cover is also great as is DANIELLE HARRIS' preformance. HALLOWEEN has alot of faults (alot alot) but i look past the shit and pretend those things weren't in it
all in all i'll take HALLOWEEN 4 anyday but HALLOWEEN 5 is ok too. not the greatest flick but deffenatly not the worst HALLOWEEN movie out there.

That's strange alright. I never dreamed they'd even think of airing an eighties slasher movie. If they wanted to do a Halloween-themed program, aren't there plenty of "classic" horror films to fill their time slots, such as Dracula or Frankenstien? Even The Exorcist?
As for H5 itself, it's not so bad as slashers go, but I can see why it bothered people. Unlike the other entries, most of the teenage characters are obnoxious brats, and the entire second half is virtually indistinguishable from a Friday the 13th movie. Even Donald Pleasence doesn't seem to have his heart in it. Low point (among many): the bumbling cops.

The box cover!? The box cover makes it look like a good movie and it is not!.It just pisses me off looking at it.Yes Harris was good but she could not save it from being flaming crap.I guess the director was hitting the bong and thought his so-called ideas were good.I know many directors think that(Like Rob hedden ,director of f13th part 8-i still enjoy part 8, Gulity pleasure)
Halloween 6 was alright,Halloween H20 was whatever and Resurrection was good.Overall i Only liked 1,2,4 and 8.The rest were okay or crap.I like Friday the 13th way more and would choose them over halloween anyday.Peace out!!
