I second all those choices. I have a Nintendo Game Cube and consider it the best video game plateform there is to date. The games kick ass.

I own a PS2 (I have to stay loyal) but I was thinking about purchasing a Gamecube, I nearly bought one on launch day. I've also loved Nintendo since the one and only NES.

I really want the Cube for the Resident Evil series and Mario Sunshine which was amazing when I played it.

I have to decide whats more important a Gamecube or a new winter coat...do you know how cold it gets in England!

Sell me the Gamecube. Why should I buy it? Is Resi that good? I am a massive fan of the franchise.

It is that damn good (sorry Triple H). It has a few cool jump-out-of-your-seat moments that are really tense. The music and sound effects in the game are scary by themself, let alone the graphics and grotesque details. I won't tell you how cool the story is or anything, because you probably already know. However, the control scheme evident in all the Evils is firmly intact, with the addition of a handy 180 degree turn. You'll also find a new enemy in the form of a Crimson Head zombie, basically a zombie you've already killed that comes back to life after a while as strong and fast as a hunter (God I hate these things). They're more of an annoyance than anything else though. If you've played the original Resident Evil, get this anyway, as 70% of it is brand new. Believe me, this is one of the best games out there.

For other things, Eternal Darkness kicks Onimusha's ass all over the place in terms of story and pure gameplay fun.

And you're pretty much getting almost every third party game that comes to Playstation 2 and Xbox (with a few exceptions ie. Dead To Rights I think...)

Also, the future looks to be only the brightest for Gamecube owners, with the arrival of Metroid Prime in November to challenge Halo for best new FPS, Zelda to reinvent the adventure genre, and a brand new Zelda and Mario somewhere down the road.

Oh, and I guess StarFox Adventures is worth mentioning I suppose.

Whew! Hope I've made a dent or two.

Resident Evil, Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine is all I've played. I'm eagerly awaiting the other RE games (e.i. Zero, II, Nemesis, CV, 4)

Super Mario Sunshine
Batman: Vengeance
Luigi's Mansion
Wave Race: Blue Storm
Madden 2002
Star Wars: Rouge Leader II
Sonic Adventure 2

These are all the GC games I have, and the best ones would definitely be Super Mario Sunshine and Madden 2002. Those games kick ass!

As for the rest, I got bored with all of them very quickly, I don't even bother to play them anymore.
