This movie is a true masterpiece. The plot and directing are great and it has beautiful scenery and good acting. What do you think about it?

I had to trade a copy of EVIL DEAD to a former friend to egt my hands on COMPANY OF WOLVES.
It is very hard to find on video.
My fave part is Terry Stamp as the Devil (you'd think he'd made a deal with the Devil to have all those lovely ladies he did in the 60's).
But the whole womanly dynamic was great, as Rosaleen matures, the more graphic the werewolf tales get.
Man meets his match in woman indeed.
Those who don't like this don't see the sheer genius of its dream-like power. To each his own.
I loved this, and the unkown actors were great, when mingling scenes with better known actors(DAVID WARNER!)

I so agree with you shmoes, it is one of the better
werewolf films out there.
And being that we all want a dvd release, I find it
only befitting that someone makes your dreams come true.

Loved it. I'm a sucker for twisted fairy tales. Getting the DVD soon!
"Freeway" "Whoever Slew Auntie Roo?" "SnowWhite: Tale of Terror" other twisted fairytale films.

I loved its bizarreness, and the lighting. It had a really wonderful lighting photographer. Not so much a werewolf film, more a "dark fairy-tale" kind of movie.
I've been reading Angela Carter's books for years, and if you like this (she wrote the original novel), I thoroughly recommend "Nights at the Circus" and her other bizarre horrific tale "The Magic Toyshop". They've been promising to make the latter into a film for years, but it hasn't happened yet.
