I think he looks awesome!! To each his own I guess, but whats so bad? I loved that bleeding brain emerging from his skull! Not to mention the tufts of hair! Nice touch...
I understand he sorta looks a little...bloated,but maybe those rolls were created by that toxic waste?

Please Reply!;)

The whole worm, demon, Jason just doesn't sit well with me. Plus the fact he see an old black guy, and ugly sheriff, and some news guy killing people.

I liked his look as well Psycho. The exposed brain was cool, and I liked the hair too. I just wish he'd been in the film for longer than a few minutes. :(.

Yeah, I didn't have a problem with it either. But that probably isn't a big shock considering I created a thread on how much I liked the movie. And boy oh boy, have I been taking some flack for admitting that. But who cares, I gotta be me.

It is JASON! He always looks cool. What can you say, he never has a bad hair day.

I didn't have a problem with this movie at all. I think it ranks high among the best movies in the series.

Congrats man. With any luck, you'll have it before Halloween; a perfect time to scare the kiddies with it..

His head was obviously a rubber mask. He looked like CRAP.

I like the way Jason looks in this film even if it looks cheesy.

Well, I admit it takes some getting used to, but then again, I don't think a lot of people complained about the "undead Jason," who was even meaner than the "retard Jason." This is just a new phase of his existence: the frequently body-hopping Jason. Let's see...it's been a while since I last watched Jason Takes Manhattan, but I seem to recall that by that point, he was in pretty bad shape at the end, when that guy threw toxic waste at him. The "hellspawn" within was no longer able to sustain his deteriorating body, so it had to relocate itself to new hosts. It was inevitable.

This development is not entirely unprecedented. The final scene of A New Beginning strongly hints that Jason's ghost had possessed poor Roy. Also note the dream sequence at the start if the film. It was Jason alright, but in a different body. Probably the same for Mrs. Voorhees in the orginal.

Of course, this is a retcon, as none of the earlier writers and directors had ever convieved of such a radical departure for the series. They may have came up with the idea of Jason's ghost haunting the residents of Camp Crystal Lake, but nothing like this.

Still, I don't think it would have bothered people as much had Jason's appearance in JGTH been just like it was before. I had a much easier time accepting the idea, but I just wish they explained a bit more, and made it feel like a "Jason movie," not a Hidden ripoff.

I HATED Jason in JGTH, in fact, it's the worst film in the series. I mean, they changed all the rules in the film with that stupid worm thing. I hated the fact that other people killed, I also hated the fact that Jason looked completly different, it was cheap, rubbry, and it looked like SHIT!!!

Try to see it this way: Jason is pure evil, right? Well, that worm creature represents his true essence, the very core of what he is. No longer truly human, but a destructive force of nature.

PS: Linds, what did you think of Jason X?

Just make sure you know what you're getting into. There's very little gray area with this flick, you either love it or hate it.

I personally harbor an apathetic hatred for it (Yes, that's an oxymoron). I mean, I dislike it, but I can completely see and understand why some people would enjoy it.
