i saw this film and LOVED it and was thinking of reading the book. I don't read a lot of books though. Has anyone read the book and give me a review on it and if its hard to read or not?
I saw the movie last weekend and I LOVED it as well. I've also been considering reading the book and I'm pretty certain I will, but first I have to finish Blood & Chocolate.
I'd also love to hear thoughts on the book from people who have read it...

I actually finished the book last night and if you liked rules of attraction you should definetely check the book out. It starts off very much like the movie but as it gets closer to the end it becomes very different. It's funny, the parts I didn't like about the book were kept from the movie. In the book I dispised Sean and Lauren's relationship which is very different in the book. It also gets a little boring near the end. But every part I loved in the movie was there in the book and there were also parts of the book I loved but were kept out of the movie. you learn much more about the characters and their motivations. Definetely one of my favorite books also. I cant wait to see the uncut 2 and a half hour film to see what other parts of the book they explored in the movie but cut out.

Read the book first. Loved it. Saw the movie tonight. It was okay. Not bad, but could've been better. I love Paul and his character, but they barely focused on him whatsoever in the movie. Ugh. Made it look like he was some pathetic boy chaser with no feelings. Tsk. Better luck next time, Roger Avary.
