I used to read a whole bunch of comics, my favourite being all of the Spidey books, Spawn, Hellblazer, Grendel, most of the Dark Horse Aliens/Predator/Thing series, but when they renumbered the Spidey books a few years ago I decided to stop (and sold all my comics - Sob!)

However, I've recently discovered Ultimate Spider-man and it's fantastic! I have a feeling that this is going to ease me back into comics again.......

I'm even worse, Lindsey...I'm a complete poser. I go to the Graphic Novel/Comic Book section of Barnes and Noble every time I go, and scan it for Ghost World...but pretend to know what everything is. To an onlooker, I'd be a female Brodie of types, sifting through for the one I have not read.

To those who know me...I can identify Spider-Man, Batman and Superman...that's about it. :(

I collect to many Marvel titles anything from Mainstream Marvel(Spider-man titles, X-MEN, Hulk etc.) and Marvel Knights(Punisher, Elektra, Dardevil) to Marvel MAX(Alias) and Ultimate Marvel(Ultimate Spider-man). I enjoy collecting them but the prices are getting so ridiculous I'm not to sure how much longer I'll be able to collect to books I like. I mean a Marvel Knights issue here in Canada costs over $4.75 per issue(ugh). Just glad to hear Elektra is going mainstream maybe that will knock the price back down to $3.75(which is still a rip off).

Just starting to collect comics. At the moment I get Wolverine and Gambit and X-Men. Only have one comic shop where I live and it doesn't have a great selection of comics but I will probably pick up some Batman comics and maybe ask them to order me some graphic novels.
