This films just one fun Sfi-fi-horror film, that I loved as a kid. And I love now. Well now I get all the jokes. This films is what the words "b-movie" were created for.
Basically an alien pet escapes from some planet and comes into this families home through their satellite dish. Its really funny and has got this weird feeling to it. Kind of like twilight zone feel all over it. Its funny as hell and has some preatty cool make up fx.
Its got a lot of sexual jokes wich is why I probably didnt get em as a kid. I just saw em recently and laughed out loud many, many time. Recommend it if you wanna have a fun time and dont want anything to deep. Cause lets face it folks, this IS lowbrow entertainment. But fun. Check it out Corpse! :D

I LOVE how cheesy this movie is!
I am a huge Pamela Franklin fan (check her out in Better Off Dead) and she just rocks in this! I wish there were some photos to buy from this flick. anyone know of any obscure-ultra-obscure places that would actually sell 8 x 10s from it?
Interesting cast tidbits:
O.D. was later in Fright Night 2
Pam Franklin (as the daughter) was in scores of other horror films.
Chad Allen (little brother) grew up to be a teen hearthrob on the tv show My Two Dads.
Gerrit Graham is the KING of low budget.
Mary Woronov is the Queen.

"Terrorvision" is well worth checking out if you get the opportunity. (I've seen it on video in the UK, so your local rental place might have a copy.)
It goes more for humour than scares, but you've got to laugh at the "swinging" parents, the punk-wannabe older girl and her metalhead boyfriend, and the ex-military grandpa who's always just "taking care of business". The E.T. in-jokes were great. The monster itself is hilarious.
I've never been into Terrorvision (the band)'s music, but I do love their appreciation of B-movie cheese.

Hey Skweem good to hear from you!;)
This films a good hunk a cheese! It is!
It got some real crazy characters like that heavy metal boyfriend called OD. I wonder why hes called OD...heh heh.
And the crazy war crazy grandpa who shoots first and asks questions later..
You know I really love that character that imitates Elvira...whats her name? I cant remember it now, I think its Medusa or something... but she kicks ass on that movie, shes got snakes on her head and hosts a late night horror movie show, wich I thought was sooo cool. Kinda reminded me of Fright Night.
TerrorVisions was directed by Ted Nicolau, the dude responsible for directing the Subspecies series of films...and Albert Band is responsible for the story..
Cool lines:
When that alien comes to pick up his pet and sees the kids he says:
"Earth children, please, I mean you no harm. I am Pluthar, here to save you."
Another good one...
" People of Earth, your planet is about to be destroyed... We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience."
Funny shit. oh yeah. :D

This sounds like the perfect film in an inperfect fashion so yes I will check it out.
I did see it in a local universal video rental shop the cover was a faded baby blue it looked like someone had left the film out in the sun instead of the sun dried tomatoes:D
Thanks guys I will tell you what I think of it.

Oh yeah, TerrorVision is one of the best slices of unapologetic cheese out there. It has everything you could want from a goofy, cartoonish B-flick; even it's own hilariously horrible theme song over the opening credits.
