In TTT there are many new characters. A list of them is below

-Eomer
-Theoden
-Grima
-Treebeard
-Quickbeam
-Eowyn
-Faramir
-Gollum(He was barely in FOTR)
And a few more.

I really want to see Eomer. His bit in the new trailer is really cool and he was bad-ass in the book. I think Karl Urban will really capture the character and I really want to see his performance. Plus, Eomer is my fav character of the whole book trilogy.

Treebeard and Eowyn always intrigued me in the book.

BTW, if you go to the LOTR Spanish official site, you can download some gorgeous Eowyn and Eomer desktop images:

Curiously, these backgrounds are not yet available at the US official site.

Faramir - he was my favorite in the books. I am confident that they will do his character justice.
Also, looking forward to seeing Gollum. And Gandalf the White.
Aw, hell. I'm just looking forward to all of 'em!

The character I'm most looking forward to is Wormtongue. Brad Dourif is one of my fav. actors.

What's most interesting about The Two Towers is that there is a high degree of curiosity over the characters.....Two characters in particular - Treebeard and Gollum.
Course, we're all interested in the human characters, but that extra bit of excitement comes from that fact that we really want to see how these CGI creations look and act.

Going by what I just said, Treebeard is my most anticipated character, closely followed by Gollum.
That's not to say that I think Treebeard is the more important of the two, because Gollum obviously is, but the thought of a walking, talking tree amazes me....Gollum is very human-like, but Treebeard is way off onto a scale of fantastical fantasy (although, at heart, the character is very human).

Eowyn - I wanna see how she does in TTT and the relationship between her and Aragorn...

Faramir - I have not heard whether or not the part where Frodo & Sam meet Faramir and co. are going to be in the film itself but it would be interesting to see how he does in the film...plus he's a looker;)

I would definately say that Faramir, and Eowyn are my two most anticipated characters. Their relationsips with the other, main characters, is what I am most looking forward to. Gollum, and Wormtougne, however, come in as very close alternatives. In fact, all of the new characters are going to be great to see on screen. Definately looking forward to this film, more and more, the more I think about it.

I am looking foward to see the sheer scale of Treebeard and the Ents. I anticipate Gollum, i would like to see if they have captured his true character as from the book. I'm sure Gollum will be as good as fish !

Gollum. I just hope that CGI can make him justice. I do trust that Andy Serkins will do great voice acting on the part.

tie between treebeard+ents/gollum- because they were both so awesome in the book! The story would really suffer in my opinion if they leave the ents out.

I cannot wait to see more of Gollum... the glimpses of the CG character in ads and pictures look quite convincing. This could be a huge step forward for CG-driven characters.

I also love the look of Brad Dourif's Wormtongue, and Bernard Hill's King Theoden.
