What did you think about the Dentist?

I think that it was an Ok film, but it seemed a little low budget. It wasn't a bad plot, but the quality could have been better. The Dentist 2 was a little better, but it still seemed like a cheap, home-made video.

I remember seeing The Dentist years ago on HBO, and I remember not really liking it. I thought it just a bit too stupid, and I was never really a fan of Corben Bernsen.

It wasn't a good movie but it was definitely creepy. A good low grade horror film that surely could make you uncomfortable, especially if you are already a bit trepidatious in the dentist chair.

Wasn't there a sequel?

I agree that it can make you uncomfortable and yes there was a sequel where he gets out of the hospital and moves to a different town and kills the only dentist there and then takes over his practice.

It is the one where his wife cheats on him so he starts killing people. He then gets his wife in the dentis's chair and cuts out her tongue.
