What's everyone favorite comic like Garfield and Peanuts?
Mines gotta be Calvin and Hobbes. I love this little guy. I've got almost every collective book of the comics, and love the premise of a little kid playing with a tiger. Which we still don't know is real or not. The thing I love about him is his imagination. He's got a big one. Word.
Coming in at a close second, The Far Side. Gary Larson was a comic genuis. Almost all of his comics are witty and hilarious. Check 'em out!
Also: Dilbert, Garfield, Peanuts,
So, what comic does everyone look for in the funny papers?

I would also add a newer one. Get Fuzzy by Darby Conley. This things a riot.
Also, does anybody remember Bloom County? By Berke Breathed. The one with Opus the Penguin, Bill the Cat, Steve Dallas, etc. God that was great.

Calvin and Hobbes, Dilbert, they're both fun. My favorites have gotta be Peanuts and Garfield, though...they're a real blast.

The Far Side, for me. Always been a fan of Gary Larson's and when you come into my hall I have two framed montages of my favourite Far Side strips. Never read anything else that comes close to Gary Larson, I'm afraid.

My favorite FAR SIDE is the one that shows the bathroom stalls. A man's feet, and in the stall beside him, a mummy's. The man is grabbing some paper from the mummy's wrapping... and underneath it says: "It was an innocent mistake, but nevertheless, a moment later Maurice found himself receiveing the full brunt of the mummy's wrath."
HaHaHa! Brilliant, genius.

Incase you've never seen God himself, Gary Larson, there he is ^.

Garfield was always my favorite. Not so much because of the captions, but because of the artwork. Garfield is one cute, cool cat! :)

I used to like Garfield, and then the 90's came along. Very rarely do I read a funny Garfield anymore...Very, very, rarely.

Calvin and Hobbes is easily the greatest of all time. Witty, intelligent, insightful and simple...it really never failed to be hilarious.
The best current comic strip is Foxtrot. A sign of a true, unafraid, pride-filled geek is to read, laugh at, and fully understand all of the strip. It's jam-packed with movie, book, music and techie references...that's what happens when a kickass physicist gets paid to be funny.
A few other great ones...
Bloom County
Garfield
The Far Side
