Texas Chainsaw : The next generation (1 spoiler)

I just rented the Texas Chainsaw Massacre : the next generation and I would just like to know whats everyones opinion. I really enjoyed the first and the second but I thought the new generation sucked ass. Also, could someone please explain who the girl in the hospital was at the end ? Was it the chick from the 1st flick

The girl at the hospital was Marilyn Burns (Sally) from the original TCM.

Did you see the review in www.imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com) ? I totally agree with it! It starts: "Was the movie written by a donkey or it was o monkey?", it's one of the most hillarious reviews ever written in imdb! I am not sure about the monkey part but... it is what it deserves! A shame! TCM was to be ONE movie! Brilliant although i didn't enjoy a sec of it! The new generation, which accidently got into my hands( the video-club employer gave the WRONG MOVIE, big jerk!), was very bad. I didn't watched! I saw the first mmm... 20 minutes! I've never left from the cinema or stopped my VCR in my whole life, but this one just went over the line! Ridiculous and as bad as nothin' i 've ever seen(with the exception of the sequels of nightmare on elm street and the space travesty!).....!

Yes the movie sucked but it followed in pace of going downhill. They've gotten worse since the second one. Which is amazing considering how bad they are no.2 bad- no.3 horrible. Next gen=shit. It seems like simple math to me. However the first is a masterpiece and is one of my fav movies.

As well as JOHN DUGAN (grandfather) playing the cop, and PAUL PARTAIN (Franklin), who is the one pushing the sweet n' fucked MARILYN BURNS. And now that part 5 got the greenlight, let's hope these folk make another cameo...a much longer cameo!
