With only 27 days left before CoS opens in theatres, I figured it was time to post this. This thread is for fellow fans to warn each other when a CoS star will be on a talk show or a special on the film will air. I will kick it off with the following information!
Tonight Entertainment Tonight will go behind the scenes of CoS and it may features some new footage and cast interviews. Be sure to set the VCR's, turn on the televisions, and enjoy the magic. Check your local listings for times.

I watched it and it was pretty damn cool. It was short, but very sweet. There was an interview with Daniel Radcliffe, a lot of behind-the-scenes shots of The Dueling Club, and a dialouge scene between Harry, Ron, and Hermione that consisted of the lines below....
Harry: If there is a chamber of secrets and it really has been opened that means...
Hermione: The heir of Slytherin has returned to Hogwarts.
I hope you all caught it. :)
If you did not here is an article from ET on the clip...
Harry Potter's New 'Secrets'
October 18, 2002
The highflying Harry Potter is back and entering his second year at Hogwarts' School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. This time, Harry and his friends, Ron and Hermione, face dangerous otherworldly challenges -- like mischievous pixies --and discover a mysterious dark force that's terrorizing the school.
Tonight on ET, we go behind the scenes of one of this holiday season's biggest event movies, 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets'!
"I think it's funnier than the first film," says DANIEL RADCLIFFE, who portrays the bespectacled Harry with a lightning-bolt scar. "It's got more action in it. And also it's got a lot more emotional depth, especially to Harry's character. And it's also a lot scarier, a lot darker and a lot creepier."
The 13-year-old Daniel is a little older and wiser in this second film installment of the phenomenally popular J.K. ROWLING fantasy books. And he believes that his own life is reflected in the changes that his character is making.
"I think Harry's character is very different from the first film," he says. "As he's developed, I've had to develop myself as well. I re-read the second book, and I've now developed two instincts -- my instincts and Harry's instinct. If I'm in a situation in the film, I think, 'How would Harry react to this?', and so I try to bring that across onto the screen."
Joining Harry this year are a variety of new characters, including Dobby the elf (voiced by TOBY JONES) and the new Defense of the Dark Arts teacher, incorrigible narcissist Gilderoy Lockhart, played by Oscar nominee KENNETH BRANAGH. So how did Kenneth feel about joining this tight-knit group on such a high-profile movie?
"It was nerve-wracking," the 41-year-old thespian admits, "but only because you were aware that it was a great big film. As much as there were expectations for the first one there'd be equally great or greater expectations for the second one. But I came into a great family atmosphere ... [and then there was] the amazing casting chemistry of the central trio, with Dan and EMMA [WATSON] and RUPERT [GRINT], who clearly get on well and are good company. They were the people, along with [director CHRIS COLUMBUS], who made me feel at ease."
Tonight on ET, go on the set of the new Harry Potter movie and discover what's behind the Chamber of Secrets!

I just watched the clip! It is from The Dueling Club. I will tell you what happened. Lockhart says to disarm only and he counts to three. Draco goes on two and Harry flips around and shoot back at Draco who flys around. It is hard to explain. You just had to see it.

Rumor has it that the they were in Chicago this morning being interviewed by Oprah. Were they interviewed by her last year?
dh1989
10-23-2002, 09:14 PM
No need to post RUMOR. It is 100% fact! Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson were in Chicago, IL today taping an episode of Oprah Winfrey. An air date has yet to be set. I will keep my eyes out for ya! I do not remember the trio on Oprah last year. There best interview was on Rosie. They were all so kind and sweet. There was also this lady making HP treats like Acid Pops and Cockroach Clusters. I hope the trio returns there also.

They showed so much! First they showed more of the floo powder scene, first Ron went and everyone backed away from the fireplace, then Harry went and he was much quiter than Ron when he said "Diagon Alley" and then it showed him sliding (on the floor!)(?) out from the fireplace of that shop in Knockturn Alley (forgot the name). And heres what kicked ass: QUIDDITCH! They showed A LOT. Haryy flying with the camera focused on his face, Malfoy flying with the camera focused on his face, and the rogue blusger (didn't see it, but I assumed) smashing a hole through the audience stands. After seeing that, I must say, Quidditch looks really different then the first movie. everyone moves faster, it's much more cloudy out, and the tone is much much darker.... I think it may bee TOO different from the first and people may ask, "Is this the same game?"

Ack! It came on the same time as ET! I noticed that E! comes on again 4am. Will I get up to watch it? You bet! On ET they showed Moaning Myrtle flying into the toilet, Bludger chase, The twins and Ron hovering outside Harry's window and all three said a little something in interviews. We get a good look at Ruperts haircut!

I saw Oprah. It was amazing. This was not a little 15 minute interview this whole episode was devoted to Potter. The clips were amazing. Yes the arm thing was hilarious. I also loved the spiders. When it was on Harry's back, it was freaky. My favorite thing was the bit from the Quidditch match. It does look rougher. The bludger is very violent(when it broke Wood's broom :)) and the effects are advanced. The kids were wonderful. I loved how they named the slugs Monty, Ethel, and Vincent. :) There were some stupid kids in the audience, though.
"Do Harry and Ron talk normal like us in real life", said an American girl.
I also disliked how Oprah constantly did a fakey British accent, but still overall it was an great episode for Potter fans.

Here is some cool info about this Friday(11/8)........
Warner Bros. Pictures and The WB network are teaming up once again, this time bringing you an entire scene from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets before the movie hits theaters next week.
Zap2it reports that the scene, to air during its block of comedies on Friday, November 8, features Harry as he enters Professor Dumbledore's office and sees the professor's pet phoenix burst into flames, then rise from its own ashes.
The network and its corporate siblings have teamed up before in airing "Harry Potter" trailers first.
That was from Comingsoon.Net.
I will be watching for sure. Fawkes looks wonderful! I saw a bit of him in that HBO special.
