DC or Marvel

Which do you like better D.C. or Marvel comics? I think D.C. has got better characters and writers. Marvel has got cool one's too but I like D.C.'s line-up better.

A couple of years ago it was all about DC with me. Especially their Vertigo line of comics. Over the course of the last couple of years though Marvel have gradually won me over.

All of the above are quality titles with consistantly good storytelling and excellent artowork.

Right now though...Marvel is where it's at. All of the aforementioned titles are very worthy of any comic book fan's attention. A couple of years ago I didn't have any Marvel titles on my pull list. Now they predominate.

I'm probably a little older than most members here but there was already this DC/Marvel rivalry when I was young. I grew up on DC because they were better for pure fantasy. I didn't like angst in my comics. But I appreciated many of the Marvel characters as well. I remember having debates about whether Thor could take on Superman, and the teacher would come around and look at us as though we were nuts.

I like Marvel and DC Comics. Word. But Marvel has to have the best super-heroes.

marvel has kick ass characters, but DC has none other than....BATMAN! how can you beat batman? the world may never know.

Marvel. In my 15 or 16 years of collecting comics, I've only ever collected two DC titles, and those are titles that I've only started collecting in the past year or so. They are JLA and Green Arrow, other than that, I'm a totally dedicated Marvel guy!

As far as movies go , its a great time to be a Marvel fan!!!!

Definitely, MARVEL.

DC sucks. All they've got are Superman and Batman and even they really aren't all that. Marvel's got X-Men, Spider-Man, The Hulk, etc.
