OK.
I'm not here to tell people to go buy the movie if you don't already have it and I don't work for any movie studio.

The movie 13 Ghosts made in 2001 is freaking me out. I watched this movie on my portable DVD player and noticed something odd...

During the scene when they got to the library and the two guys fell down after a fight. If you look on the black part of the wall behind one of the actors you can see a partially covered face of a man. I didn't pay close attention to it until I played it again on my home theater system and found out that the face was gone. This really freaked me out! Later, I played the DVD on my friends system and we both watch the scene and noticed a dimly lit partially covered face. You could barely see it. Can anyone else validate this?

That is weird. There is a face. It's not that dim though, it was pretty clear. He kind of looked like Burt Reynolds. But I wouldn't worry too much about it. The behind the scenes stuff tells about how it was hard to shoot in a house made of glass (even though the face isn't on the glass) because it would leave reflections. The black material must have made a reflection.

Pesky, thanks for the validation.

Really strange though... I don't know why on some DVD systems the guy's face is blacked/dimmed out but on my portable I can see the face bright and clear.

Freaky! LOL!

Does anyone else see the face dimmed out or can you clearly see it? I'm trying to figure out why my portable can see the face but on other systems the face doesn't show up.

try adjusting brightness/contrast...

really.

it just looks like some sound guy and terrible shot blocking.
