Alright, since TTT is almost here, all of the trailers have come out, and we are about to get the SE for FotR - how excited are you, about TTT? Is it the same as last year? More, or less? Different or the same? Tomato for TomAto? So, answer away,....dammit!

Can't wait. There are some movies that just can't fail - this is one of them.

I voted for FOTR was damn good and this one looks damn good. I am more excited for Harry Potter 2, but this one looks great. The effects look breathtaking.
Well, I voted for the very top choice.
I'm honestly much more excited for The Two Towers.
Why?
Because it's simply my favourite book of the trilogy. We were all excited for FOTR just to see what Jackson's vision of Middle Earth looked like, and how everything was handled.
Now the real shit begins! Now we're stuck in the middle of this immense battle. The sheer amount of character is incredible (CGI, and non CGI).
TTT has bollocks...Helm's Deep is going to be superior cinematic brilliance. As Jackson said in an interview "It's the chapter where you really feel Tolkien's blood was boiling".....It's where we're going to witness how hot Jackson's blood was!
I've never looked forward to a film so much in my life, and the great thing is - I know that hype won't spoil it for me, just like I knew with Fellowship.

I'm more excited. Last year, I was a bit nervous about the first film, worrying about it's quality and the box office take, and that kind of dulled the anticipation. I waited until the weekend before seeing it, wanting to see a few reviews before I actually went.
No such worries this time. I'll be there on Wednesday, Dec 18th.
One of the things that I am anticipating the most about the Two towers is the Helms Deep squence! Not only because of how cool it will be to see one of the most exciting parts of the; but also because I want to finally take a look at how good Massive will be!
For those who don't know what Massive is; Massive is the software used to animate the large 10,000 strong Uruk Hai that will be storming Helms Deep! It supposedly allows each one of the anymated characters to act as intelligent individuals acting and doing task different to the character next to it! this will allow for a more reallistic look at the large army or orcs that we will see!
The reason I am exited about it is the possibilioties that this software will open for future epic stories with large battle scenes!!!!!!

I am way more excited for this one than the first. I hate to admit it but this time last year I really didn't know much about Tolkien or LOTR. I was more excited to see the good looking blond guy in the previews. Now a year later I have read all three LOTR books plus The Hobbit and The Sillmarilian. I am a Tolkien and LOTR fanatic. I saw FOTR 24 times in the theater and can't wait for TTT and ROTK. I had no idea how good this story was and now that I know, I am addicted. (Oh and the good looking blond was fun to watch too!!)

Well that's a really interesting point, and I'm also really eagerly awaiting the next instalment, but to be honest at this moment in time I'm a lot more excited about the ROTK. I've been thinking it through recently and it's going to have so much cool stuff in it'll be unreal. It sounds stupid but I have a feeling that ROTK will be my favourite film of all time - even in the many years to come. What really gets me excited is the huge scale of it. You say that Tolkien's blood is boiling at Helms Deep, but the Massive software is still only fighting and stuff. In the battle of the Pelennor Fields in ROTK the software is set to "All Out War"!!!!!
Holy friggin' cow how cool will that be??
Also it's interesting to note that Helms Deep, actual fighting will only be 15 minutes now, as opposed to the 40 minutes people thought previously. This will be intercut with Frodo, Sam and Gollum and Treebeard and co. And of course we'll have extra Helms Deep stuff that isn't action..
So overall I'd say I'm extremely excited about TTT, but just thinking about ROTK makes TTT seem slightly less amazing, even though it'll kick ass. ROTK will kick so much ass none will be left to kick! And it's over a year away! :(

From what I've heard, TTT is going to be better then fellowship...Battle scenes were my favorite and so I'm looking forward to Helm's deep.
It can't get better then this. Everyday that goes by is one day closer to December 18th. Can't wait.
Sowen: similar story with me as well. I saw the dashing blond guy(Legolas) in the trailers for fotr and was looking forward to seeing in the big screen and now I am hooked on anything LotR. I didn't know one bit about lord of the rings until the movie and I'm glad it introduced me to one of the best books i've ever read.

And you're not more excited about when that cool little system is switched to "All out war" in ROTK? :D
I'm going to go to the LOTR exhibit when it comes to London. I really hope I can get tickets because it sounds awesome. Did you hear about the bit where you can use VR to move around the moria set?

Yeah, that's the one that will be at Boston, as well as London and Wellington and other places.
Here's a very interesting article from TheOnering.net...

SPOILERS!!!
The Film opens with a big plunge eh? This can only mean Gandalf's fall into the very depths of Moria with the Balrog.......When they say it is going to be an amazing opening, this surely signifies the old wizard's epic battle.
