SPOILERS IN MY REVIEW
Review
Abandon is the new wannabe thriller staring Katie Holmes and Benjamin Bratt! What a refreshing cast (lol)! You wanna see good suspense that put you on the edge of your seat? You wanna see gore and really bloody decapitation? You wanna jump so many times that your ass will hurt? Unfortunalty you are at the wrong place. The movie is slow and without real suspense. The story is very bla bla bla and unoriginal. The only good element in that mess is that the ending is very cool and i really did not see it coming! An other movie that really let you down!
Suspense
The movie really lack of suspense and a thriller without suspense is like a porn movie without T&A ... it's impossible! Some scenes are supposed to be suspensfull but they are not! Katie Holmes running out the library was not enough to put me in a suspensfull mood! And someone knocking on a door was not enough scary for me to hide my eyes for what will come next. The trailer was maybe action/packed but the movie is totally the opposite!
Gore
Where is the gore and the blood? Not here i guess! There's some rock attack by the end but it's not enough for me.

Katie Holmes in bra and panties.
Acting
I like Katie Holmes in the movie and Benjamin Bratt was really boring.
Finally
Abandon is not that bad but it's a real let down for horror or thriller fans. At least the ending is really good and very twisted!
