Getting Gamecube for X-mas

I bought Gamecube for my son for X-mas. I already own a PS1 and PS2 for myself but there are not alot of kids games on those platforms that's why I got it for him. But I was just wondering other than the RE series are there any other games along those lines that I can play for Gamecube?

Batgirl: I bet you'll love Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. It's probably the darkest game on the GC as of now; very Lovecraftian.

Also a Gauntlet style game called Hunter: The Reckoning is either out or will be soon. It's a bit more modern than Gauntlet; as will as more gothic. It's been out on X-box for some time. Looks like a lot of fun for horror gamers; and gamers that enjoy Gauntlet style brawling games.

Super Smash Brothers Melee is a game that you and your son will probably both love. It's easy to learn, fast paced, and addictive. One of the best multiplayer games ever imo. Single player isn't too shabby either :).

You may also get a kick out of Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters melee. You take the role of Godzilla or assorted monsters and battle it out; stomping Tokyo in the process :). There's a thread about this very game around this forum somewhere. I'll find it for you so you can look over other peoples thoughts on it.

I have a GC myself and enjoy it quite a bit; hope you do too.
