I've had doubts that they can really do movies of all the books.
These kids have defined the roles, I just can't see others coming along and taking their place. Anyway, the article is really more along the lines of speculation then definite news.

I have read countless interviews with Dan Racliffe and he says that the 3rd is definite and the 4th is likely, but not set in stone with details. I am not going to freak yey, I believe the WB will come through and adapt all seven to the screen with the same cast.

This is what David Heyman, producer of Potter films, has to say about the fourth film. This is from The Leaky Cauldron and was said during a roundtable interview in New York last night for the press......
What are your thoughts about the fourth film?
DH: I have very few thoughts about the fourth film at the moment, because at the moment I'm trying to think of the release of the second and the preproduction on the third. At the moment I don't know if we're making a fourth. I hope we will, it looks like we will. What we've done, we're negotiating with a screenwriter to write the fourth, but that's it. We have to deal with the third first and I'm really excited about it, it's a fantastic book, great story. Let's get the second one at least.
Does it really matter that the kids are getting older? The books are each set a year apart meaning the characters will be 18 in the last one anyway

It was predictable the kids wouldn't want to spend the next 7 years doing the same thing over and over again...I'd be bored too after a while if I were them.
