What Comics Did You Buy This Week? (24/10/2002 - 30/10/2002)

Gonna give this a shot. There has to be a whole bunch of comic book buying schmoes out there.

What comics did you buy this week and did they make you happy or sad?

I haven't yet read this weeks bundle but I shall later this evening and will comment.

I used to buy loads of comics, particulary Spidey, bu when Marvel renumbered the Spidey books a few years ago, I was so outraged and disillusioned with the state of comicdom that I decided to call it a day and (foolishly) sold all my old mags!

However, I've recently discovered the brilliance that is Ultimate Spider Man, and have managed to track down all of the back issues - #29 came out this week and there hasn't been a duff one yet! Highly recommended. :D

I'm a huge comic book guy, but I've been reallly broke lately, and haven't gotten anything for about two months:( I should be able to contribute in a week or two.

Also a huge comic book fan, but had to recently cancel my file at my local comic book shop due to a vacation I was taking and couldn't afford my comics for a while. I should be able to start up again in January, hopefully.

I still managed to snag a few comics on vacation though:

X-Men #4 (the original run of the X-Men with the first apperance of the Brotherhood of the Evil Mutants back from 1964 I think)
Avengers #8 (The first apperance of Kang from 64 or 65)
Avengers #13 (the first appernace of Count Nefaria from 64 or 65)
Avengers Vol. 3 #1 Variant "Sunburst" Cover
Thunderbolts #1
