"Scream 3" flat out sucked. I won't go so far to say it ruined the series because the other two rocked, but basically I feel there are only 2 "Screams." The third one was so bad I don't feel that it should be part of the series.

well,i wouldnt exactly say Scream 3 sucked, but the "killer" kind of surprised me..i mean,i liked Scream 3 overall, and i felt it lived up to the hype,BUT having the killer in part 3 being the "mastermind" behind ALL of the killings in parts 1 and 2 seems kinda stupid to me..it just didnt add up to me....
still though, the killer in part 3 was "better" IMO than Loomis' mother in part 2...man,i still cant forget about that horrible choice..

I don't think it ruined the trilogy at all but it did lack some suspense the other 2 had. but over all it was good movie and ended the trilogy very well even though the finale part of the movie was too sappy.

Wouldn't it have been better had it ended with two characters turning out to be alive in a spoof of Dewey's comeback's at the end of the last two Scream films?
I think that the fact that the cast and crew within the stab movie were using drugs and having irresponsible sex was rather a spoof of the slasher films of the 80s or a clever way of illustrating hypocrisy. Also, Jenny McCarthy does have alot to do with the spoof in that she plays a 35 year old actress playing a 21 year old who's in only 2 of the Stab scenes before she's...you guessed it.
The only thing I would ask from this film series's producers and crew if it goes on is to try to have some more direct spoofing in the future.
Ultimately no, it didn't ruin the series.

Scream 2 ruined it, the 3rd revived it. Who can forget that horrible scene where Sidney's boyfriend sings to her? And then they let him live almost the entire movie!?!?
And the fact that the killer was Billy's mom, I guess I kind of enjoyed it though. Only because I was laughing so hard at it. After that Scream3 was a breath of fresh air.

Ghostface 2000.... Do we really need to re-activate all these year old Scream topics?
I mean it is kind of cluttering up the board and bumping new topics that were posted by people that are still here. Just an idea.
