I disagree. Among the Dawson's Creek cast members, I think Katie is not only the hottest (She's, like, my type.) but she's also the most talented followed closely by Michelle Williams.

Getting cast in "American Beauty" was a stroke of phenomenal luck for this cow. She wasn't even the hottest girl in the flick, Jane was.

I do not blame Natalie Portman for her woodenness in the Star Wars films. I blame Lucas for not knowing how to direct his actors. Portman can be a great actress, and has been in the past. She's also adorably cute and pretty in the Star Wars films, and that helps those performances.

Kirsten Dunst is not that great, but I don't wish her to shop trying. She has had a few good performances in the past (before puberty, mainly), just, Spider-Man was not one of them.

Mena Suvari is, in my opinion, not ugly, nor a bad actress. Birch was better in American Beauty, but she wasn't at all bad herself.

How is Rachael Leigh Cook THAT bad? Though she was pretty bad in Antitrust, I thought she was good and very pretty in Josie and the Pussycats and She's All That. You guys are just against Freddie Prinze Junior, ain't ya?

Heather Graham has had a few good performances. I thought she was good in From Hell and Boogie Nights, as well as an upcoming movie none of you have seen yet (but I have) called Hope Floats.

Jessica Biel acts well on Seventh Heaven (though I've only watched a few episodes) and did a good job in The Rules of Attraction. Once again, I think it's a Freddie Prinze thing.

I haven't much of a defense for Sarah Michelle Gellar since I've never watched "Buffy", and have only seen her in a few movies where she hasn't stood out as particularly good OR bad to me. I do think, however, that this too is a Freddy Prinze thing with you guys/girls. ;)

Now, on to the "Bad" list:

Shannon Elizabeth - looks attractive only in posing stills, and can't act well.

Denise Richards - has a disturbing forehead vein, and also cannot act well.

Leelee Sobieski - is just too frumpy. Her acting is DECENT, but not great.

Katie Holmes - is only mildy attractive to me and she seems to act the same in every movie I've seen her in. (Same facial expressions, stuff like that.)

Courtney Cox - is quite ugly and not a very good comedy actor. She sucks with reacting properly to what she sees or what is said to her. (I mean on Friends, of course. She was okay in the Scream movies.)

Jennifer Love Hewitt - IS deformed, though I'd still have sex with her ;) . She's not very talented, in both arts she practices, but I can see her getting better.

Tara Reid - is a very annoying actress, especially in Josie and the Pussycats, and is not attractive to me.

Jaime Pressly - plays skank, trailor trash roles (that I know of), which I find make her look very unattractive, and she's not at all good in the roles either.

Michelle Rodriguez - destroys every movie she's in with her stupid bitchiness and extreme ugliness.

She is the worst on this list, and the only one (well, no, Jaime too) that I seriously want to stop existing in Hollywood. Go (respectively) work at McDonalds, and a street corner in New York, you dumb broads!

The others I have no ill will towards, and I believe could improve in the future (at least with acting, if not looks). Maybe they just need better roles and better directors.

I was ecstatic when I heard that 90210 ended; I hoped that meant we would never be cursed with this dingbat's annoying presence on film or TV again. But then along came Scary Movie 2, and she nearly ruined the film for me! Plus, she looks repulsive.

Her best acting moment: her death halfway through Scary Movie 2. Great acting! :D

Portman, now best known among the mainstream audiences for her role in the Star Wars movie, is not exactly under the best direction in the world. Don't get me wrong, Lucas can do action fine, but he can't exactly squeeze an Oscar winning performance out of anyone. Portman, as Amidala, just literally does stand around looking pretty. Very little else.

It's the same with Dunst. Now best known for Spider-Man, the token eye candy love interest and also showing off her very perky breasts, it's hardly a credit to her roles in Interview... and The Virgin Suicides.

It's unfortunate that two very promising careers have turned out so mainstream- not that there's anything wrong with a blockbuster. But now, it seems that both girls are getting offered roles which sell them with their looks, little else. Considering they both churned out astounding performances before they even hit thirteen, it all does seem rather disappointing.
