The rating for CoS
Why do you guys think the MPAA added crrature violence to the rating? The first film had
-The Moutain Troll
-Creepy Gringotts Goblins
-Devil's Snare
-Centaurs
-Dead Unicorns
I wonder why CoS suddenly has a creature violence warning. Sure there are Acromantulas, Pixies, and Basilisks, but is it really that much more creature violence than SS. What do you guys think?
The bbfc (UK version of the mpaa) mention "fantasy spiders". Maybe that's it. Link:

"Fantasy spiders"? That amuses me. But I suppose "creature violence" is a reputable addition, it may be more graphic than the first.
Do they mean Aragog by mentioning the spider? I don't remember the scene being violent in the book. It was creepy, though..

I think it's due to Harry and Ron running over some spiders on their way out of the Dark Forest...?

the rating says "Mild Language" the book had NO language. But all the others did??

The basilisk is much more violent than most of the creatures from number one, and the spiders are also pretty scary. (Not to me, but I suppose it might be to some young Harry Potter fans...) Also the Whomping Willow might be considered a creature, and it was pretty violent. CoS is a little bit less kid-friendly than the first one.

Well, the books are kinda scary (for kids) -- and they get darker and darker each time. There's gotta be a logical explanation, let's wait and see the movie I guess...
