I saw this movie years ago... I really didn't get it, but loved the hell out of it. Saw it again, years later... it still kicked ass. This is just my opinion...anyone else seen it or its sequel Tetsuo II: Body Hammer?

I own the first one on DVD and haven't seen the second. It was interesting indeed. I would reccomend people see it if they're looking for something a bit different. It's pretty cheesy though. Despite what the DVD back says, I don't think it deserves a place with Eraserhead and Videodrome.

Last time i properly saw these two, i was heavilly smokin', so you must excuse my lack of memory...
However, from what i do remember, having clear memory of the film may not necessarily improve my chances in affording a critical analysis. Iron man (nowt to do with Ozzy) was more of an eraserhead kinda trip fest, which totally lost me.. Altho there was the totally memorable scene with the guys Schlong being replaced with a Drill - and yeah - he uses it...
Body Hammer from what i recall had more of a story to it, didnt his family get kidnapped and he realise he had the power to create firearms from his body and shit? Or did i just cane too many mind altering drugs?

Yeah, i went to see Malevolent Creation & Hateplow last year at Electroworx (a club) in London, and they were playing Iron Man on the vid screens thoughout the place...

Tsukamoto is not ur usual horror director, he's not for every - one and he is not very accessible but I like his films.
I have seen Tetsuo, Bullet Ballet, Tokio Fist and Hiruko The Goblin.
Tsukamoto is a real crafstman he did everything on Tetsuo for example : acting, photography, script, production, directing, etc ...
remarkable.
