Who be your favorite ACTOR and ACTRESS that are still in their 20s?

For ACTOR, it would probably be: Leonardo Dicaprio (27)... most seem to dislike for his pretty-boy looks, but I've always loved his work. He gave very good in The Basketball Diares, What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, This Boy's Life and I even liked him in Titanic... sue me....


For ACTRESS, it would probably be: Christina Ricci (22)... I've always liked her since her younger days in The Addams Family and since she has blossmed into a very good actress. Pretty good performances in Buffalo '66, The Opposite of Sex, The Ice Storm and I even liked her in Caspar...

I'm none too thrilled by the current crop of young actors.
If I had to chose one, I guess I'd go with Jude Law... albeit for only a brief time. 30 won't be a bitch for him, I'm sure.

Now, I think there are alot of very talented young ladies. Here are my favorites, in no particular order: (talent grade)-

My list exactly, minus James Franco who I am not overly-impressed with. Let's throw Jude Law in instead. Ryan Phillipe has proven himself to me in Gosford Park...(hmm...could it have been that lovely accent?) and Ellijah Wood...well...Lord of the Rings. ;)

As far as the actresses go, Jena Malone is 18...but the rest of the list is great, although I do not know if I would put them in that order.

Jude Law is a great actor, probably better than all of the actors on my list, but there's something about him that bugs me. Maybe because he's way too serious?

Perhaps...he is like Gwenyth Paltrow in the sense that I really love him...but...there is a little nagging thought in the back of my mind that he has a dislikeable quality. I'm not sure what it is. I would like to see him in a comedy of some sort...see if he's capable. I know he is capable of being dramatic and downright scary (Midnight in the Garden of Evil...final scene...(shudder))
