Not a lot of movement in the charts this week with WEDDING beating RED DRAGON in the first week of national release following their impressive Preview Screenings run. WEDDING added $3,357,259 to its total, which is now $5,608,579. RED DRAGON which debuted at 6 on its preview screenings, went to 2 taking in $2,204,565. It now sits with $ 2,732,879 after 2 weeks. Although DRAGON is beating WEDDING in the screen count stakes, 290 to 166. ENOUGH, a film that really wasn't as bad as it was made out to be, unfortunately but not surprisingly dropped in money, however maintained its 7 spot. It has $797,599 after 2 weeks. SWIMFAN didn't move whilst REIGN OF FIRE and LILO AND STITCH swapped spots. The films sit with $1,676,299, $12,539,220 and $2,855,674 respectively. POLLOCK, a film which has been receiving rave reviews and taken its sweet time to arrive just slipped in and will probably rise in the weeks to come as it get its national release, whilst anohter of this years "little" films, THE CAT'S MEOW moves back up, after 6 weeks it sits with $697,969.
THIS WEEK: The Sandra Bullock thriller MURDER BY NUMBERS, the Jason Statham action pic THE TRANSPORTER, Dennis Quaid and Rachel Griffiths in THE ROOKIE and the Aussie teen comedy BLURRED.
NOTE: Some of the responses may sound a little odd, now that i have updated the charts and changed my response a little. Hopefully, the future won't bring any more delays.
