I have a developing interest in soundtracks, paticularly of the original music variety rather than the predictable various artists combos.

What do you own, or what do you like?

One of the best CD's of late has to be THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS soundtrack, which I picked up, certainly one of the albulms of the year. A perfect eclectic mix, and Marksborough is a major talent.

Also owning:

HIGH FIDELITY - not too bad, a little mismatched here and there.
TRAINSPOTTING - fucking masterpiece, a milestone for soundtracks.
REQUIEM FOR A DREAM - not easy listening but beautiful, thankfully it came cheap.

~Trainspotting
~Cabaret
~Jesus Christ Superstar
~The Rocky Horror Picture Show
~Mulholland Drive
~Hair
~About a Boy

I own a shitload of rather dodgy ones also..."Fight Club" (not TOO bad), "Fiddler on the Roof" (a couple of crackin' tunes), "Dead Man on Campus" (I liked the Manson cover of "Golden Years")...that sort of thing!

I'm looking to purchase "Requiem for a Dream" some time this week actually...definitely a must-have!
