I read the book The Unlikely Spy years ago and that was in paperback. On the back inside of the cover it read "the rights of The Unlikely Spy has been bought to 20th Century Fox and will be made into a major motion picture.
I've been waiting for over six frickin' years and still no "major" motion picture. Do movie-to-film adaption usually take this long. It sure didn't seem like it for Congo or Hannibal.
