I'll go with...

Brandi - That Boy Is Mine (or whatever the fuck it's called)

I can't even explain this...so I won't try. May Kurt Cobain forgive me.

Complicated. Sue me. I don't listen to top 40, so I'm not pounded by it constantly. It's a catchy little number.

Me, too. I haven't even heard any of her other songs. But I caught this one on VH1 flipping through the channels, and it was very catchy.

Grebdron - You will appreciate this joke: Did you feel old the day you realized there was more stuff you liked on VH1 than on MTV?

Anyway.

I am a big fan of Lionel Ritchie, and Kenny Rogers....

The Gambler is the BEST song ever, particularly when you've had a few shandy's!

You can't beat a bit of Don Williams either...and Billie Jo Spears...and FUCK IT, I'm a closet country fan!

Talk about...pop music. Talk about...pop music.

How about Mexican Radio, by Wall of VooDoo. Definitely a guilty pleasure.

Zoot Suit Riot and other songs by the Cherry Poppin' Daddies...for some reason I got suckered into that swing rejuvenation and I still have a bit of a soft spot for these guys, though I won't admit it usually.

Yellow by Coldplay. I hate everything else I have heard and I hate them when I see them on television. They are second rate Oasis or Travis clones, there's even some similarity to mellow Radiohead...I hate them but I like Yellow.

Stuck by Limp Bizkit. Again a band I despise all around except for this song and Nobody Like You. The latter because of Scott Weiland singing back up, the first because it is amazingly heavy and angry and sometimes, that's all I need.

To each his or her own bud, but Coldplay is an amazing band. A Rush Of Blood To The Head is the cd of the year IMO (just ahead of Wilco's Yankee Hotel Foxtrot), but alas..... anyways, I guess I would go with The Offspring's song "I want You Bad''..I don't know why I like this god damn song, but I do.

Shooby-doobie-doo-wah!

'kay - glad to see so many Kenny Roger's fans. Everyone check out that song from the motion picture SIX PACK. "Love will Turn You Around."

I won't hold back as much today --

"Bettie Davis Eyes" - Kim Carnes (I actually may like the Gwenyth Paltrow version more, though)

"Total Eclipse of the Heart" - Bonnie Tylor. (The worst is when I perform my solo accoustic version of this song)

"Lose Yourself" - Eminem (after all I said, he makes this powerful song totally void of any disses. I can already see this tune getting overplayed though)

"Fascinated" - Sheila E. (This song makes me dance around singing, "I'm fascinated by your love boy"?)

"Queen of Hearts" - Juice Newton (Just because this always makes me ask, "You like the Juice Newton?")

"Boys in the Hood" - Dynamite Hack (Hey, here is a song that takes all of the vented turmoil voiced by a generation of angry black males and makes a satire of it. Yeah, this is a guilty pleasure.)

"Is That Yo Bitch?" - Memphis Bleek ft. Jay-Z and Missy Elliot (With lyrics saying that you want to make sure your women isn't hanging out with hos who "be gobbling dicks" - this song tells me even Missy Elliot can sound mysogonistic. But what a great tune!)

"I Love You" - Climax Blues Band (Sap)

I think it was Cheeky who mentioned MMmmmmm-Bop (Hanson) in another thread...as much as that song annoys me, I kinda like it. For shame, for shame...

And then there's Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You and Celine Dion's Titanic theme, but you never heard me say that.

Somewhere out there - Peabo Brison I htink, it was from American Tale

Gone - N'Sync

Groove is in the Heart - Dee-Light

99 Red Balloons- by whomever is covering it at the time...

I tihnk I just may have to listen to Gone now, I think I like it cos it's no dancing and no drum machine really, just some high quality singing.

Ah man, I like that song too -- it evokes some great memories.

That, and Vanessa Williams "Save The Best For Last" -- that song really reminds me x-mas when I met my special lady friend who became Mrs. Strangelove.

Agreed about that Pink song. And I cringe as I type these:

Old Michael Jackson - before he went under the knife.

The Footloose soundtrack

Nelly - that ride wit' me song, you know the one I'm talking about?
