Is Halloween 5 that bad?

After watching Halloween 5 on DVD I asked myself if it really deserved all of the negative reviews it had gotten. Sure it might not be the greatest one but it sure is better than 2,3 and 4. Halloween 5 is on par with the original actually. Halloween 1 will always be the best but is Halloween 5 far behind?

i disagree HALLOWEEN 4 is the best halloween. i do like part 5 but i hated it for killing rachel. there is already a halloween 5 room so this is probably going to get closed

Rachel was killed in "Halloween 5"? That sucks! She was one of the only reasons I watched part 4. How did she die? As you can tell, I haven't seen the whole series yet.

I'm glad Rachel died. It throws you off guard from the very start. However her predecessor Tina was the most annoying character to ever grace a Halloween film. By the way Rachel died by SPOILER getting stabbed in the chest with a pair of scissors.
I like this movie. 8 out of 10. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

well rachel sported a super 80's perm in part five so she got the "scissors" with in the first 15 minutes

i agree that it throws you off guard teenkiller, but i really liked rachel and she should of took the knife for jamie insted of tina

Weren't 4 and 5 both filmed at the same time? Anyway I thought 4 was better than 5. After seeing the cut version of 6 I though 5 was a masterpiece. So I guess it wasn't that bad. offical ratings: 4:**1/2,5:**, 6(the cut version):*

no.part 4 was filmed in march of 1988 and part 5 was filmed in may of 1989
