View Full Version : When the hell are they going to release WILL & GRACE on DVD?

I'm surprised this show hasn't been released on DVD yet... I really want to buy it and I'm hoping sometime soon they will release the first season, then the second, third, etc...

Has anyone heard anything about a DVD release?

Haven't heard a thing about it. Probably best to wait until the show is a little older and more well-liked (it's no Friends or Sex and the City, and ratings are down substantially from last season).

I saw Will on Grace on DVD a while back. I remeber it because I was suprised that it was so high in the charts. I'm not sure if it's been released in the US but I'm pretty sure it was Will and Grace I saw. There were two DVDs (although they could have been two box sets). I'm 90% sure it was Will and Grace.

Yep, you were right, unfortunately it's Region 2. I can't wait until this show comes out on DVD in the US.

DAMN WILL IS HOT!!! I never really noticed him with medium hair. HE is way hotter with REGULAR hair! but...you get the poing ;)

While it's not much of a surprise that one of NBC's Thursday night comedy anchors Will & Grace is finally coming to DVD next year, it is surprise who will be releasing. Video Business is reporting (http://www.videobusiness.com/article.asp?articleID=4303&catType=NEWS) that Lion's Gate Home Entertainment has picked up the DVD rights to the smash comedy for release starting in 2003. No details have yet been announced how how the show will be released or in what format, but stay tuned!

Thanks for the great news! I am surprised that Lions Gate is releasing it though, I just can't picture it. But Lions Gate kicks ass, they are my favorite movie studio because they have BALLS and aren't afraid to release controversial movies, so I trust that they'll do a good job with the "Will & Grace" DVD...

It's weird that it appeared on region 2 first. Its usally the other way around. It's been out over here for ages now.

w/ theatrical releases (being reign of fire and bad company and shit that r in theaters than 6-7 months l8er r on dvd) that is def true... BUT w/ TV show sets and older releases getting special edition treatment other regions r well ahead of us!!

Off topic: A better question is when are they going to release "ROSEANNE" on DVD. Hands down the funniest show ever. Every episode is hilarious. Especially, Season's 4 and 5 are the two best season's on TV. The travesty is that ROSEANNE was NEVER nominated for the Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy. An utter shame on the ATAS' part. :mad:

Anyway, yea, I'd probably buy "WILL & GRACE" on DVD as well if they'd release it.

Even though I've seen all of the re-runs countless times now, I still plan on buying the DVD. I haven't heard any new news about it getting released though. I wonder what's up with it!?
