The other day I picked up Harvard Man, To Catch a Thief and Felicity season 1
Most recently, we picked up THE SHIPPING NEWS, MONSTERS INC. AND LORD OF THE RINGS: THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING. All excellent viewing. I wasn't certain of my wife's choice of THE SHIPPING NEWS, but pleasantly surprised once I saw it. Good chick flick. I've seen MONSTERS INC. eight times now including the viewing of the DVD. I love Pixar films, though. LOTR is phenomenal. I've been a lifelong fan.

I'm pretty picky about the films I buy on DVD. I usually rent tons and buy just the ones I really love. Budget is still an issue with me. I was torn on buying multiples. I just didn't want to wait any longer for the special edition to come out, especially with STAR WARS EP II coming on Tuesday. So I bought this version in September. If I have to pick, STAR WARS wins my green. I'm sure I'll buy the new special edition of LOTR when time and money allow. And then I'll more than likely kick myself when the whole bloody LOTR trilogy becomes a box set some time after RETURN OF THE KING in 2004. (I'm certain enough to make that assumption even now.) Oh well. I'll buy it again, I'm sure. This is one of the exceptions to the rule.
