Innocent Blood a very Underrated classic

I just finished watching Innocent Blood for the first time in years. This is a really good classic that I don't think gets the credit it deserves. It manages to be funny but not over the top and it has Don Rickles as a vampire. That alone is a reason to see the flick. What do you schmoes think of the movie?

I remember liking this film a lot. Sam Raimi makes a cameo in it as a butcher thats preatty funny. I also liked the way the vamps eyes look.

But its like you said bowie this film is way too underated. I think its selling (on dvd)for something like 6.99 at Borders...

Robert Loggia's performance, which is so OTT that it works, is great. And Anne Parilaud creates a realistic vampire, if one that is not clothed for a good amount of the movie.

Wow, the cameos are numerous, and I would point them out but there are too many. INNOCENT BLOOD has aged well.

I'm surprised that I haven't seen this flick yet, since it is a hybrid of two of my favorite genres: vampires and mobsters.

It stars the original LA FEMME NIKITA and Robert Loggia, but who directed it again?

What ever happened to Landis anyways I haven't heard of a movie he's done for awhile. The goober needs to go back to directing horror because he quite good at it!

Antonio: I agree. Mobsters and vamps make a great pair. I think there needs to be more mob/monster movies. Like goombas and werewolves or the undead. That would be cool.

My goal is to someday be as in shape as Annie Parillaud was. Damn, I want a body like that. Well, not the upper portion.I'm happy with my 36b's.
