The last I read on a Twin Peaks web site (can't remenber which one) was it is going to be released the first half of 2003. No need to worry as it is almost definate that Artisan will release the next set, just a matter of when.

I liked every episode until the Laura Palmer mystery is actually 'solved'. It deserved the two seasons it got, but once the mystery of Laura Palmer was dicovered, there wasn't much else that could compare in the rest of the series. I still liked it, with all the quirky characters and strange happenings... kind of like TWILIGHT ZONE fixed in a surreal reality more like our own than if it was in another dimension. Did that make sense?

Regardless, the second season has the rest of the Laura Palmer mystery, and it's really mean to only have 7 episodes on the first DVD set... especially if no one has ever watched it, and bought the set (how rare that case might be)! God forbid they decide to rent or purchase FIRE WALK WITH ME and expect to understand, enjoy, or appreciate that movie. I'm still having a hard time appreciating FIRE WALK WITH ME. I'm happy I still have my VHS pilot episode and series with me to hold me over until the DVD release!
