Has anyone seen this rare compilation of zombie films. Yeah, its a movie from the 80's which is just a compilation of scenes of euro zombie films. But the scenes it shows throughout the feature are very interesting scenes indeed from movies I've never seen, unfortunately it didn't show the names of the films. I do remember it showed scenes from Fulci's Zombie, Oasis of the Zombies and Zombie Lake. There was yet another that looked too damn interesting for me to forget about it. It showed some damsel in distress running up a rocky beach being pursued by some leather clad metal wearing zombie (i'd appreciate it if anyone out there knew the name of this feature). Well anyway, I know Zombiethon is nothing and sucks, but it's been in my blood for a very long time now. I first remember seeing it years, and years ago when i was around five. I watched it at my grandmother's, who was a horror fan. As I was growing up I always thought back on this movie i watched, and always remembered one scene in particular; a pre-sequence scene which showed a little girl and her mother walking through the city. The little girl jumped in a mud puddle for fun, then the two spotted a zombie and began to walk fast to get away from it. They ducked into a nearby movie theatre, but there they came upon a whole horde of zombies watching a movie on the big screen. This always freaked me out. Later on, after me and my parents switched residence, we always paid visits to our local video dealer. There I always walked past one video that was packaged in one of those huge porno-like boxes. I will never forget the artwork on this video cover, a bunch of zombies sitting in front of a theatre screen having all sorts of fun, with one of them chewing on the finger of a leather clad prostitute lying on the floor. This always aroused me. I often read the cover and pondered if it was the movie i had watched several years ago with my grandmother, even if it was I wouldn't rent it due to the cover, i dont think my mom would've let me. but a few years later when i was 15, me and my step brother rented it, and i was surprised to find that it was the same movie. me and my step-brother loved it, especially the nude scenes; particularly the naked cheerleader scene from Zombie Lake, a movie I plan on buying for dvd soon. The video store eventually went out of business and i have not seen Zombiethon sence.
