Hey, I am just wondering what the rest of the schomes like to hear when they are at the hockey rink, baseball stadium, basketball arena and football field.

I know that when ever I hear Rage against the machine I get pumped up.

Anyone else have a favorite song to hear?

Does running count as a sporting event? I usually like to listen to some of the faster and harder songs from Guns-n-Roses (like Welcome to the Jungle) or even Mottley Crue (Kickstart My Heart.)

Ever tried to do a sporting event to country music? I didn't have much of a choice since the park I run in was hosting a loud country music concert...it totally killed my speed and any sort of ambition to finish the run. Now if it had been a Metallica concert, that would've been a totally different story. :)

Anything having to with running or making harsh physical contact always makes me think of the Ramones' Blitzkrieg Bop

I personally like just about anything by AC/DC to get me going for a sporting event. There's not a lot of newer stuff that does the trick for me though.

Back in my high school football (thats American Football...you know the non grass ferry version :) ) playin days I had a mix tape for game days with a lot of metallica, jump around by house of pain, ac/dc, some guns and roses, some beastie boys. I'm in the process of putting together a cd version of it now. Still can't quite remember what all I had on it.

Stuff by Run DMC is nice for basketball...makes you feel right on the playground. lol

That aside..."We are the champions" is a classic everyone should hear once when they win some sporting event. It's a great feeling.

"Who Let The Dogs Out" is probably the lamest song I've ever heard, but it sounds right on during football.
