Whoa! I got turned onto this talk radio guy who has the best schtick in the world.
He does voices really well, and will pretend to be a guest on his show, and piss people off who don't realize it's him doing a voice.
Let me explain -
On his show last night, Harvey was voicing this character who pushed a special needs kid down a hill in a shopping cart.
He said in a redneckish voice, "Yeah, my son saw that Jackass movie, and I wanted to show him that I was hip. So we got his retarded sister and put her in a shopping cart and pushed her down a hill just like in that movie."
Then people, not realizing that is was the host doing an imitation, would call in and yell at the "guest". They really go off.
This lady calls in and says her daughter is handicapped like that, and was yelling about how wrong what the guy did was.
Then Harvey responds in the fake voice, "Nah. She liked it. All we did was clap our hands the whole time and made it look fun. She had a blast. She was clapping along the whole way."
I can't explain this show anymore. It's really, really, really unique and original. It's like prank phone calls, but the people call him, because they hear it on the radio. I think this guy has been on for a long time, and is working to get a TV show.
Look for listings! I imagine some of his programs could be found online for download.
