A thumbnail pic should be easy. Right click, save as a picture, then browse in the avatar user cp section. Your picture files should come right up. Open that picture, and that should work. I think...

You can also find avatars on the site by going into your USER CP, and then into your options, and at the bottom there should be the option to browse for or upload your own avatar. Remember, an avatar must be 70 x 70 in size; and under 15k of memory. Personally, I found mine with google image search, and then resized it with Windows paint.
