I saw this a while ago and thought it was a great film with an even better sound-track. What did you guys think of it? Also is'nt that the guy from T.V.s Dark Angel at the begining of the film, when he drives away from the bank after robbing it.

Love that wheelchair scene. Yeah, this one's a keeper. The director I think did one of the NOES movies.

This movie came out the starting gate like a racehorse on PCP and the pace rarely flagged for the duration of it's 90+ mins running time. Director Jack Sholder's previous movie had been the disastrous Nightmare On Elm Street 2 so i've always been kinda surprised at how cool The Hidden actually is. I'd love to be able to say that his career continued this trend. Unfortunately i's been a catalogue of disasters since The Hidden. Mostly TV work and a few lacklustre movies. The Hidden really is a gem though. Kyle Maclachlan was excellent and Michael Nouri was pretty good too (apparently he and Sholder had plenty of on set clashes resulting in Sholder going on record to state that he would never work with the actor again). I'd give it 4/5 and will be adding it to my DVD collection soon(ish).

I'm also a big fan of The Hidden...what a ride!!!! The seuqel on the hand sucks on so many level its not even funny. How you can fuck up a sequel to The Hidden is beyond me. The formula is fairly simple: heavy metal, fast cars, deadly strippers and gunfights galore. What's complicated about that?

In a movie making version of Fantasy Football League i'd have had the John Woo that made The Killer and Hard Boiled (as opposed to the watered-down, body-snatched John Woo that made Broken Arrow & Mission Impossible 2) direct a sequel. How cool would that movie have been?
