What movie(s) can you think of that makes you think it's about to end when suddenly an extra scare scene or surprising sequence occurs? My vote would go towards Poltergeist (the extra night in the house) and The Ring (2002, If you saw it you know what I mean!) What do you guys think?

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

What an awful, awful, film. I was praying that the movie would hurry up and end, but no, we are treated to a "getting ready for bed" scene where Freddy Prinze Jr. proudly admits that he loves his electric toothbrush (I'm dead serious).

Then we get a weak-ass under-the-bed scare, and the promise of another sequel. Gag.

i saw the origional before and i was like "this cant be the end to the american version"

and then boom! it smacked me.

The added scare techniques used in Coscarilli's PHANTASM (Later shamefully used in the awful ISKWYDLS mentioned by jeff1prime) and Depalma's CARRIE. These were used to perfection in order to add the final nail in the coffin so to speak. Can't beat those seventies flicks.

The scene in the original Friday the 13th when Jason emerges from the lake and drags the girl into the water. I did not see that coming, and it scared the living crap out of me!

Dude you can't go around posting links to other sites like that. If recall correctly you were already advised to stop putting links up to your site in another thread. You are spamming and the mods don't look to kindly on it. Just quit before you're banned. Joblo already is having a tough time with the site and he doesn't need you making things harder by using his site as a means of getting people to visit yours. I agree Aliens seemed to end but didn't because of an unsuspecting passenger.........
