I heard this movie was pretty good. Kung fu fighting and zombies. Anyone seen it? Worth it to look for it?

i havent seen it but i heard about it from the toronto film festival it's supposed to be packed with alot of non cgi gore it sounded good to me.

Blackest Heart media has a trailer on their website, it looks pretty cool, in the same vein as Wild Zero and Junk.

they were selling it at the LOS ANGELES COMIC BOOK AND SCI-FI CON last time I wast there, and some dude was showing it on the TV. I saw a few minutes of it and it looked pretty cool. I was gonna get it, but didn't have enough money. There's another CON in a few weeks, hopfully it will be there.

Well I finally got to see this movie, I swear it is never on the shelf when I go, so the owner was cool enough to open one he had for sale, and lend it to me.

This movie is fucking awesome!!! Think of what would happen if John Woo, directed Jet Li in The Evil Dead; You would get Versus!!!

The movie starts with a bang and has a kick ass ending, you get very cool gun fights, sword fights (I'm a sucker for cool sword fights), kick ass martial art fights, zombies galore, gore galore I could go on and on. if this video is anywhere remotely near you and you have not watched it yet get off your ass and watch it!!!!

Oh and I've said it before and I'll say it again; Hollywood wake the fuck up and quit sending out all your crap, there are many unknown directors, writers and actors out there that deserve a shot. Give it to them!!!!

I agree Versus kicks major ass. Samurai warriors, gangsters, and zombies how can ya go wrong. I did have a problem with the ending. I didn`t really get it, maybe one of you guys can help me out.

Yeah totally f*ckin A1 movie... Nice to see proper zombies ... y know the scabby, rotten, dark ones... Yeah and guns... zombies with guns f*ckin rule, well they made sense here, i dont mean like romero zombies should start flashing duel ingrams or stuff... Yakuza zombies with D.Eagles make sense... Yeah man, Samurai vs samurai zombies... F*ckin A man, totally rushtastic movie... See this puppy and then look at the "horror" movies of the last decade...

Only gripe i had on it was about the change in tempo...

I went in expecting a Blatant Zombie Flick... Admittedly those scenes totally ruled, but u get the last proper shambling rotten corpse about 40mins in....

grrrrrr....

Still gets my vote tho...
