I've seen the VHS of The Exorcist: The Version You've Never Seen multiple times and I just recently purchased it on DVD. I just have a simple question that's been bugging me: In the scene where Chris enters Regan's bedroom, after Burke's death, as she closes the window and leaves the room, an eerie statue appears to the left of the screen (shown earlier in Iraq and at the end of the movie) and scary music begins to play. That's what I saw on the VHS. But on the DVD, this scene isn't there! In the position the statue is supposed to be at there's nothing but a black screen. Where's the statue? I know this isn't a big deal but do any of you, who have seen the DVD, know what's going on? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

This is so weird! Has this happened to anyone else? Also the sound on my sounds a little strange. Can someone else check to see if theirs is fine, I'm trying to figure this out. Thanks.
Statue's in mine as well.

Maybe it happened to you because you live in Maryland. The Exorcist is based on actual facts from a story about a boy that was possessed in Maryland, so maybe there is some sort of connection between Maryland and evil!!!!

LOL, I hope I don't become possessed by the devil (I actually have been to Georgetown, Washington... Pretty creepy) Anyway I'm positive I have 'TVYNS' because all the other scenes are still there but something strange happened last night when I viewed it again. I decided to try watching it on a different DVD player (which is hooked up to a different TV) and for some strange reason the statue appeared on this one. I wonder why it didn't appear on the other one... This is strange! Maybe I shouldn't live in Maryland anymore.

Your original TV may have been too dark or the contrast was wrong, or something. If the screen is slightly darker than usual it's not very noticeable.

I agree with Scully 1888. Check your contrast/bright settings.
