You know the ones.......the nightmares where a horror villian or something froma scary movie slips into your nightmares.........the dreams that us horror fans love and others hate..........well, mine are: When I first saw scream at the movies, I liked the flick and didn't think much about it, but that night I dreamed that I was in a barn and mr. ghost face was following me around and he kept popping up and scaring me, I some how ended up on the roof, and he grapped me and dangled me over the edge. It was along way down and I was scremaing and crying and he just kept laughing in that demonic(Roger Jackson) voice. Finally, I slipped out of my shirt somehow and fell but before I hit the ground I woke up. .......The next one was when I was little, Leather face broke through my window and sawed through my water bed. I was crying and screaming and I sank into the water bed and as it got dark and I was drounding, I woke up...scary shit when your little........what's yours?????

I had one 2 nights ago it was kinda funny, wierd and scarey. I was looking out of my house and there was a glass building over the road which i stared at and i suddenly out of nowhere saw michael myer staring right back. My initial thoughts were "HOLY CRAP" i looked away then looked again and he had done his Myers dissapearing trick. However being a glass building i saw him crouching behind a desk ! LOL i laughed out loud but i think he heard me and i think that pissed him off. I saw him walking down the stairs but i couldn't stop laughing shouting things like "HURRY UP" lol and i think it pissed him off kinda more. I waited untill he was with in stabbing lengh then i slammed my door. However forgeting Mikey is kinda strong he smashed down my door then i started to run (wish i didn't piss him of now eh ?) Um well to cut along storey short i kinda got trapped and um well what do you think...... i got butchered by Mikey and he moved on. I then wake up about 4:00 in the morning kinda scared and then attempt to get back to sleep. Take note never piss people off in dreams......
Might think of more later i never have dreams only nightmares well some start off proper then turn into nightmares :eek:

not really involving a horror villain. i WAS the horror villain. Pinhead. was very very weird.had my little cenobite clan and went round showing people the pleasures of the flesh.
woke up about twice, but went back into the same dream.

after watching phantasm, i had a dream of the tall man. i was in the hallway of the mausaleum like in the movie, i hear BOOOOOOOOYYYYYYYYY!!!! and there he is at the end of the hallway, the ball comes flying at me, i duck just in time and wake up. happened a couple times, just makes me love phantasm even more.

i hardly ever have a nightmare but 2 nites ago i had 1. not horror film related but it scared me shitless.

my mum had been killed while i was on holiday and wen i got back home loads of my family were around the house (4 sum reason they were all people from eastenders (Brit soap)). every1 was in bed and my mobile (cell) fone rang. i was on my own and the voice the other end was my dead mother sayin weird stuff to me. god it was scary. woke up feelin very strange.

Good subject,I don't know about you guys but my dreams feel like there real now compared to when I was younger.Anyways,This dream was a couple of years ago and I was in a zombie movie that was like all of Romero's zombie flicks put together and I was a guy that wasen't a zombie and I was killing them with my gun and I ran out of bullets with like one zombie left in the field I was in.So it gets closer and closer,I have no idea why I'm not running but I wasen't thinking about that in the dream,Thats just my thoughts after the dream when I woke up.So,The zombie grabs me and then all of a sudden I was the zombie attacking myself and just before I got loose and was going to bite myself?,I woke up in sweat and really freaked out,It was like 6 in the morning when I woke up and I could'nt get back to sleep.That nightmare still haunts me to this day,I think about it everyday and I still haven't figured out what it meant because I heard once that every dream is suppose to mean something,Whatever.

A couple years back I dreamt I was with the platoon from ALIENS and we were stuck in the middle of a stairwell with the Aliens slowly approaching from above and below.

I woke up just from the white knuckle tension.

I had one like that a few months ago. It was the only dream I actually woke up sitting on my bed in a cold sweat (I didn't know that could actually happen!). Anyway, I was with a few friends and we were stuck in a hotel with the city overrun by zombies. It was a cross between Night Of The Living Dead and Shivers. I don't remember how it ended, but judging from how I woke up, it couldn't have been good.

I had a dream that freddy was chasing me down in the boiler room, I hear his feet clacking behind me, him yelling, and then all the noise stops, so I turn around and nothing is there, then I turn back and am looking him strait in the eyes, I say "do it." and then he shoves his claws strait threw my stomach. I woke up, scary.

I also had a dream where chucky chased me threw a toy store and the only thing on the shelves were good guy dolls. So then when I think I have lost him he leaps out of the plastic packaging on one of the good guy boxes and stabs me with that little knife. That's the end.

Well, I haven't seen nightmares since I was five years old, but few months ago I saw a very interesting dream. I was in a comfortable and quiet place (you know, in a place like where interviews for TV-shows are made) sitting with Christopher Lee. We were drinking tea and eating biscuits and talking about modern vampire movies and comparing them to the older ones where he starred himself. It was extremely interesting, it felt so real. Cool dream, I wish I could meet him again. :)

I think the worst dreams of them all are the ones with zombies because every slasher will kill you first but with zombies,Theyll eat you and you'll still be dreaming instead of waking up after being killed by a slasher.

But I once had a dream that I was in a Halloween movie and I was Michael's first victim... The scene I was in had me running in a school with a bunch of kids and for some reason he targeted me... It was a really cool dream...

How could I forget to add this one..when I was younger I used to have nightmares about mirrors, and they still give me the creeps, not mirrors in your bathroom or anything but the ones in horror films, where your reflection takes over....*shivers* anyways, and I used to have this dream that my reflection would come out and play with my sister and pretend to be me, and I got mad and yelled at it, and it looked at me and smiled, jumped up and knocked me down, took me by the ankles and drug me back to this full size mirror that is at my grandparents house by the way, and threw me in the mirror,and it laughed and walked away but its laugh was distored and evil....shew I'm getting freaked out thinking aobut, the nightmare was so long and half off it I was screaming for my sis to get me out of the mirror but she couldn't hear me,and it was dark on the mirror side and I could hear all these echoes -pretty freaky shit, I count it as a horror movie nightmare, since its been done in many scary films........thanks for all the post by the way-keep em coming..........later!

I keep having these TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE dreams where I escape the house, but Leatherface & the clan are trying to capture me once more. In each dream, I take a different escape route once I'm out of the house. I think subconciously I'm trynna figure out which route works best...It's weird...

I dreamed Pinhead was chasing me around hell once... hell was a mess of white hallways with doorways and stairs... and at the end, he tore me apart with chains. That one dream scared the living crap out of me.

And in this other dream, me and some dumb kid were running from Michael Myers... he killed the kid and I smacked him on the head with a boulder, then woke up... drenched in sweat.

I had a dream when i was 12 that i was being chased round this white house by Freddy Kreuger and i got into a dumb waiter a closed the hatch and i hear him laughing right ouside. I woke up and fell out of bed and i could still the laughing. Weird...

Tvmorbid has reminded me of something.Infact an extremely wierd thing happened to me ages ago about 12 years ago and i still haven't forgot it. I had a dream in my old house that i was hiding under my kitchen table from some masked guy in a long rain coat. He eventually found me and grabed me very hard on my right arm and dragged me along the floor. His grip was still hard on my arm he then pullen out a blunt knife and tryed to stab my arm. the knife didn't penetrate the skin it just caused a bruise. I woke up and coulnd't beleve how wier it was. My arm kinda hurt (maybe i had been laying on it :confused: ) i turned on a torch to see what it was and there was a bruise in the same place the guy had been stabbing my arm !!! :eek:
This storey is true however it must be able to be explained cause dreams surely can't hurt you, unless ur in a NOES film of course.

Holy shit,Reading that last story about Freddy just reminded me about the dream I had last night.He was in it and I can only really remember his claws and I don't think I actually saw his face.He wasen't chasing me,He was telling me stuff in my ear and then I'd start to float away from him,Don't ask me why its a fucking dream.Anyways,I just remember floating away and seeing a silouhette of him but his glove was clear as day and then all of sudden it came right at my face super fast and then I woke up,I could'nt get back to sleep and it was only 6 in the morning,Damn what a crazy dream.

Well i once had a dream something like that. Usually my dreams are wacked out and hard to understand.....but this one was different............

I had walk passed a sign and into a house, where my mom dad and other were...... slowly each one started to die! I soon found out the killer was a little old man with a top hat....(he scaried me) All died except me........... THen some how my dream suddenly turn into another place and setting

I was in my home town on one side of a highway, i think i was like spanish and stealing chickens (can't really remember) There was a lady on the other side, she was in a black dress from maybe 1754? And she had blonde hair. She woiuld just stare at me. I had started to scream "Get the fuck away and begame crying" (in the dream) She grew angry and was going to fly into me!!!! Before she could, it went blank (b/c u can't die in a dream, if u do then u really die, in real life) Then out of this darkness some1 lite a match (the man with weird face and top hat) he said, "Clue is never over!" and did one of those "buahahha" laughes. I awoke sweety and alone in the dark........waiting and waiting.........

I still to this day I am confused about its disterbing background.......

I don't really recall all of it, but I once had a dream that started off with Michael Meyers walking through a creepy flooded church and then for some reason, he ended up in a trailer park and got really wasted at a barbeque.

I've had about every major horror villian in my dreams. The worst one was Jason because I everyone I was with died except for me. The weird part was I had never seen any of the people I was with.

Talk about horror movie nightmares! I've had them with Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, and Chucky!
I first had with Jason. It was in a cabin near a lake. Although I remember nothing that happened, there was creepy atmosphere that made wonder if someone, possibly Jason was there.
Michael Myers started a massacre at my school a few years ago. Nearly everyone was dead. The hallways were dark and creepy. I remember 1 student creeping through a hallway. The floor was creeky and weak and she fell through it into the basement. Michael was down there...Anyway, the dream ended with Michael stalking me out of the school into the grassy field around the school. Like any character in a horror film, I tripped and fell (!) and Michael caught up with me. As a final defense, I grabbed his knife out of his hands and stabbed him. Funny thing is, I don't remember if I really killed him, or if I made that up as if he really killed me! My nightmare with Chucky was like an unofficial first sequel to "Child's Play that ignored the other sequels. The cop retired from the force and became a science teacher. One day, he's having a demonstration with a student showing the class a piece of head equipment. I don't remember what it was used for, but in a flashback, we see Chucky tampering with it. Chucky's tampering causes the demonstration to go horribly wrong. The head equipment is slowly crushing the kid's kids head. The kid is screaming in pain, blood is dripping, and then chunks of his head falls to the floor, and the kid falls over. Perhaps the goriest death in a nightmare!

I never had a dream having to do with a specific horror movie, but I did have a dream with a pretty creepy horror-movie type guy in it. He was all skeletal with grey skin, no eyes, nose, or lips, and long stringy hair. This was offset by the fact that his hair was blond and he was wearing a three-piece suit covered with sparkly sequins [I'm serious]

yeah when i was 7 i would always watch anoes 3 and 4. i would go to sleep dream about freedy comeing after me. wake up and do it all over again.

oh yes! when i was little, freddy scared the crap outta me. anyways, once i was flipping through the channels, and i passed by a freddy movie, but moved on quickly. THAT NIGHT i had a dream that my family and i were on a road trip with abunch of other families, and we had stopped at a gas station. i stayed in the car, but the rest of my family left. i saw my brother coming back, and when he leaned over to look in the window HE WAS FREDDY KRUEGER....that scared me. it took a while for me to be able to watch that stuff. and the thing i think made me connect it with my brother, is because my brother's name is jason and he has this jason mask in his room. he useto wear it every halloween. SCARY....:eek:

i had one last night but i was dreaming about being in a hotel with Dr. Lumous and Micheal Myers came after me and Dr. Lumous, well he got Dr. lumous right away then came after me, well running around for awhile I found a gun and blew him away. the only reason why i think i had the nightmare was because i fell asleep to Red Planet.

accually i just had a horror related dream but it wasn't scary,

i was running around my local plaza with BILL PAXTON and LANCE HENDRIKSEN (i guess its because i watched aliens yesterday) we went to the video store and i wanted to rent NEAR DARK but i remembered i had it. then i was in a house with these kids i once knew and they were watching 80's porn. its was fucked!

hi guys.... I remember a horror movie nightmare I had once when I was like 8. It had freddy and I was on top of a car in a gas station parking lot watching him slice up all these cheerleaders with big blonde hair. It was the one nightmare that I can remember not being scared and telling my self in my dream that it was only a nightmare and it wasn't real. I remember right before I woke up he started slicing me with his finger knives, but I wasn't scared. I just laughed and woke up.....hehe. Good topic by the way Psychopath2616......bye;)

Funnily enough, the only horror movie that actually scared me (Sorry Jason, Michael, and Chucky) was "The Return to Oz," the onofficial sequel to "The Wizard of Oz" The film isn't isn't exactly a horror film, but as a fantasy, it is darker and scarier. I remember nothing that happened in it, but I remember it freaking me out in the morning. This was based on a movie, so it should count.

Actually, that isn't so funny. There was a thread a while ago with an asshole who thought that half the people who made posts on the thread were idiots when they mentioned Return to Oz scared them when they were younger.

Was that the film with those long-armed bastards with wheels on the end? They were more screwed up than those winged monkeys and the sinister munchkins from the first film!

My own nightmare occured after I first watched The Blair Witch Project. In the dream I remember going down into a basement and seeing my girlfriend standing in the corner. I then realised what was happening and turned around only to see a large black shape charge towards me.......That's when I shit the bed.

My scariest has got to be, I had this dream where me and my friends were wandering around this partially deserted small camp/town and we got lost and went to this house that kind of looked like the Bates' House and went up their. My friend got butchered, and I dreamed a fat guy with a chainsaw was after me. I ran and saw my dad, but he didn't do anything, and I realized it was the chainsaw guy with some kind of power. I ran into the wal-mart and his, but he found me and I ran 'round screaming, but I couldn't scream ya know? Anyways, I got trapped at this hallway crying and asking some guy, he took off, then I heard the footsteps and looked. I saw fatso running at me with the saw, and I ran screaming through the store until I fell and he approached. The I woke up.

It's been a few years, but I used to regularly have dreams/nightmares about being trapped in a confined place (a spaceship, a mall, a large house, etc..) with the Alien. That movie pretty much rocked my world when I saw it.

I'm somewhat claustraphobic, and every time I have the dream, I'm trying to run or crawl around in a confined space with the Alien coming after me. And there are always other people in the dream who get it.

I don't care much for this recurring dream and I hope it doesn't come back again.

A have also dreamt a couple of times about being pursued by zombies. Another one I hope never to have again.

I jut had one last night......I was walking through the woods behind my house and all the trees started falling . I t was real loud and all these animals were running at me trying to get out of the woods, and I saw a man coming, I started to run too but i kept hearing shots fired and i could see him carrying a shot gun...I ran behin a tree but when i layed against the tree it fell over and he shot my knees out, I remember scremaing and trying to crawl so Im guessing he shot my knees out and when I looked up at him, it was a zombie, it kneeled down and put its hands over my face, thne i woke up, pretty creepy- he looked jsut like the guy on the cover of Dawn of the Dead

I used to have massive amounts of Chucky dreams, but there's only one I can actually remember. I was in my bedroom, and Chucky came in. Instead of running, I threw him down and tied him to a toy train set (even though I've never had a toy train set). Then I let the train go around and slam into his head, and then it would go into reverse and ram into his head again. This went on for a while. I guess it was my way of payback for all the nightmares he gave me
