This girl's car goes off a bridge into the water, but she manages to escape. After that she's trying to start a new life in a different town but is haunted by ghostly images and fucked up shit happening to her. After you see it, you'll see its influence in alot of more modern movies. It's very spooky.

You have "Night of the Semons" as well?

I thought I was the only one.

On a more serious note, when I said that HUGE list was an 8th of my collection, I didn't mean it to sound like pride. It's ridiculous that I have that many horror and other flicks on DVD. I mean, I love the flicks but think of how much my wall must be worth now.

Gluttony

The second two are better. More nonsensical and cheesy than absurd and clueless.

But do check them out, and with that, try Watchers 2,3, and 4

not to mention Class of Nukem' High and Wasp Woman

gotta love the cheese

Devil55
12-22-2002, 07:20 PM
Are the effects better then the first Carnosaur because those were pretty cheesy,Other then that the story was good.

Gluttony
12-23-2002, 02:32 PM
Well... I would say yes they are better in the second and no in the third. But that isn't what the movies are ofr anyway. They are made to be fun and I thought that the dinos were probably the best ever used on film (With the exception of stop motion).

The second two have weaker stories but arte made to just be gratuitous in every aspect, lots of gore, tons of bad acting, and dino POV.

The movies were and still are a big part of what got me into the horror genre.

Here is a shorter way to put it-

Carnosaur- (6/10) or (7/10) depending on my mood.

Carnosaur 2- (9/10)

Carnosaur 3: Primal Species- (10/10)

Devil55

You think Carnosaur had good effects!,You must have been in shock when you saw Jurassic Park.

Now this is what I call a DELAYED response. I forgot about this thread entirely. Anyway...

No, I was not surprised or wowed by Jurassic Park, effects or otherwise.

I just enjoy cheesy, low buddget effects and find them more visually tantalizing.

It took me a year and a half to say that...
