i havent seen it either, rented it twice and somehow the 5 days were up and i still didnt watch it lol.

i'm thinkin if i can get it cheap on dvd, like 10 bucks, i'll buy it and keep it in my dvd drawer until i get around to watching it lol. i got about 10 movies i havent seen yet.

This is one of the best werewolf movies I've ever seen. The kills are VERY graphic, and the werewolf attack on Ginger is extremely intense! The werewolf itself, while not on par with the creature effects of An Americian Werewolf In London, are still well done. The acting is right on target with the cast hitting all the right(dak and gloomy) notes. The family the sisters belong to(slightly goofy and insane mother, and totaly ineffective father) could be anyone's(dysfunctional) family. The storyline is quite plausable for the most part with only one or two minor problems. The main one being(credit goes to The Arrow for pointing this out in his review) Bee and Sam figure out a working cure WAY too fast. These two should be working on a cure for the common cold. I highly recomend this movie, but, be warned, if you're going to pick it up on DVD DO NOT get the Americian release. For about $5 more you can get the Canadian release which is chock-full of extras.

Ginger Snaps is a decent werewolf film in fact robably the baest i have personally seen and thats not many. The kills re graphic and the acting is good. Well worth watching if u ask me.

As u can see down on my avatar Ginger Snaps is listed as one of my favorite horror movies. This movie is awesome you should rent it right away, this is the best werewolf flick i have ever seen. I personally like this film because of "Ginger" & "Brigitte" and i like the dialogue, how we get to see Ginger changing during the whole film.

I had no idea that this movie was going to be as good as it was. This is better than "The Howling" and just as good if not better than "An American Werewolf In London" IMO.

Ginger Snaps is very good well worth watching but don't take our words for it, rent the flick already and see for yourself :)

It is the second best werewolf film I have ever seen, It only loses to An American Werewolf in London. Great acting. Nice ending. A lot of things you wouldn't expect happen also. Pick it up quickly and watch it if you can.

GS has it's flaws, but it's better than The Howling.

Also; if you're gonna buy the disc, order the CANADIAN dvd. It's a region 1 disc as well, but is in widescreen with supplements as opposed to the American release which is in FULL FRAME with NO EXTRAS.
