Kind of old news, but I heared that Tim Burton considered intensifying the hinted at love affair between Davidson and Ari, going so far as to have them having sex. How would that have gone over? On the one hand---Eeeech! On the other hand, Helena Bonham Carter made a pretty attractive ape, so you know....NO! Still, eeech!
Now I personally never thought this was sexual tension. Ari just cared about animals and knew this one was special.
