I saw the trailer for this over the weekend, and I could hardly mask my utter annoyance. It was waaaay too long of a trailer, and I couldn't laugh at what were supposed to be the funny scenes. It appears that S.B. is H.G.'s secertary/right hand woman of sorts who decides to leave their big law firm (?) - much to H.G.'s masked dismay. From what I can tell its the old boy meets girl - girl leaves - boy gets her back thing.
I think Hugh Grant has some talent, and I'm not so sure about Sandra Bullock. Can S.B. be a comedic actress? And can H.G. take some more intelligent roles please? Has anyone else seen this trailer?

I really want to see this film. The trailer, in front of Analyze That, is hilarious. Sandra Bullock is a very funny actress, and Hugh Grant is a wonderful comedic and dramatic thespian. This'll be a winner.

I see this trailer before HARRY POTTER AND THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS each of the three times I've seen it. And the trailer sucks. There's not one funny moment. Sandra Bullock seems very ditzy, Hugh Grant seems very....Hugh Grant. I actually felt bad for the movie since there asre usually boos from the audience near it's conclusion... I can tell you I will NEVER see TWO WEEKS NOTICE.

Almost every Hugh Grant movie looks the same. If you were to watch all of his films including this one in the near future, it's like watching one big movie with one star: Hugh Grant.

I suppose this might sound like a "rant" thread but it shouldn't. I don't think there is anything sexy about H.G. at all. Nada. Zilch. I would pay him higher regards if he would avoid the sappy romantic comedy crap.
Wouldn't he be a good London detective or something?

Regarding to the question: a big YES.
This is exactly the kind of movies I tend to avoid at all costs purely because I don't like "romantic comedies" and/or I do not like H.G. and S.B. I got to agree with Lily25 when saying H.G. has nothing that says sexy and attractive in any way. I guess he'll forever be trapped in the sappy romantic comedies throughout the rest of his career unless he pulls a "Adam Sandler" :p

I must admit that the trailers are quite dull, however I am a big fan of both Sandy Bullock and Hugh Grant. The thought of the two of them together on screen is enough for me to buy a ticket, no matter how bad the trailers make the film look.

Hugh Grant can make all the shit he wants. I'll never see em anyways.

I saw Two Weeks Notice at an advanced test screening about a week or two ago and believe it or not, the movie is really great.
Don't go by the trailers, they really undersell the movie and don't properly represent how good this film actually is. I saw the trailer back in September before Sweet Home Alabama and thought the movie looked a little weak but I would definitely see it anyway just because I am a huge Hugh Grant fan and usually enjoy Sandra Bullock as well. So I went into the screening expecting it to only be ok at best but to my complete surprise it was excellent. By far the best romantic comedy I've seen this year, ten times better than My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
The main reason I enjoyed it so much was because Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant have fantastic chemistry together. It's a very romantic and very funny film at the same time.
Don't go by the trailers and tv spots alone on this one, I highly recommend seeing Two Weeks Notice when it come out. And not just for fans of romantic comedies, I think it is one of the most accessible films of its genre from the recent years.
